Special thank you to the staff (so sorry I didn’t get her name—I think it was Alia?) for her outstanding service after returning the truck.

I had booked Furniture dolly online a day prior however it was not available for me when I went to pick truck in the morning. Unable to understand the logic of booking in advance. My booking(furniture dolly) should not have been accepted online if it was not available.

The equipment was not up to standard. Steering was shaky. Nevertheless, the customer service was excellent!

The person at the counter was very good and efficient, they seemed to be a bit short staffed in the yard and it was crowded with vehicles. I had to go out of the parking lot and around to the back entrance to pickup the trailer as the path through the Uhaul lot was blocked by vehicles. There should be more customer parking and keep the rentals away from the store front area.

End of the month rush for trucks so the line was very long to pick up vehicle. I had made my reservation online so thought there would be an express check-in for people with reservations already.

Too much information is asked. They ask secondary phone number and whole lot more. Customer information is privy to misuse by staff and hacking. Uhaul should adopt a balanced approach. Any misuse can lead to financial and business losses

Staff at the counter was not friendly at all. Would it hurt her to smile and engage with customers? Just doesnt seem like customer service is for her. Doesnt seem to enjoy her job.

We had to wait for long even after online checkin. Secondly the tyres were too worn off to drive not without worrying about them.

have a second clerk available in the morning when pickups are busy

Very frustrated with wait times at this location. Reserved the truck and was later informed by an employee at this location that it would not be ready until 2:00 pm. We reserved the truck for an 11:00 am pickup. I called to ask if it would be ready for 11:00 am and was told "No". The employee indicated that if the truck was available earlier then she would call. Wasted time from our drive in from Ottawa until 2:00 pm only to be told when we showed up, that the truck was ready early that morning. Frustrated and unbelievable. The employee helping us indicated that this happens all the time. Management needs to work on the wait times and following up on reservations.

I would suggest that the information given by the booking department, which I understand is probably in the US, is exactly what you're going to be told at the counter. after speaking to three different Representatives on the phone line, I was told I needed to bring back my trailer within 24 hours or I would be charged an extra 24 hour rate. so we're a little worried that we would not be able to get back in time from our destination to bring the trailer back. When we picked up the trailer at the U-Haul in Brampton we were told by the counter stuff that the trailer cannot be dropped off Sunday night as we were supposed to but we must bring it back now Monday morning. Of course you can imagine my temper was going to rise as I thought I did not want to spend another $54 to have to hold the trailer over the weekend. The lovely girl at the counter then told us that it is a one-day read and not to please bring it back between 7 and 8 Monday morning. Which we did The returning of the trailer this morning was a bit chaotic. As there are no areas to park the trailer on upon return. It's a very tight area on your lot is not big enough for the amount of rentals that you have. I lined up to return only to find out I need to go back outside and line up again and to have my trailer returned. It's the system is a bit flawed overall I am happy with my return and my rental. But it just needs to be a bit of streamlining done I believe

The ramp on the truck I rented had some sticky residue from the previous renter, which was not cleaned and resulted in a ruined pair of runnig shoes and dirty floors at home.
Chirag T. on
The ramp took my hour for which I had to pay extra to loaders and unloaders as it was stuck and took my too much time. Make sure it’s repaired. I did told to the person who took rental back from me.

The service provided was excellent. The two young ladies working at the front desk were very knowledge and extremely diligent in providing detailed information. They were both very knowledgeable. The guys working on inspecting and get the cargo van ready were helpful and friendly. This is the type of customer service all companies should mirror. Great job to the employees of the 411 Main Street North employees.

I took 5 x 9 open trailer for the Santa parade in north it is about 3 hours drive and when I bring back i was late by 45 minutes because of 401 highway traffic and charged me for one extra day for just 45 minutes delay. I am totally disappoint.
