Reserved a appliance dolly, when I got there she said that someone else took it and the moving blankets already. I was puzzled as to how that can happen when someone makes a reservation. Instead of looking for a solution or offering me a refund for the dolly, she said use this one that's all I have, because I've already paid I didn't even think to ask for a refund because she said to use another one. I did let her know that it won't be helpful for me because I have about 40 boxes and it wouldn't be sufficient. She insisted I take it with me. I don't think it's fair for me to pay for something I didn't use and how the interaction and communication was.

SHANNON CI would not recommend this location to anyone. The Indian manager who handled the transaction charged me $789.45, including a $125.45 deposit, and I paid the entire amount in cash. When I returned the truck in Montreal, they showed only a $100 deposit on file. When I asked them to call and confirm the deposit amount, the manager fraudulently kept $25.45, claiming I had only paid $100. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not asking for a receipt for the full $789.45, not realizing I was dealing with dishonest people. I can’t imagine how often this happens — stealing $25.45 from every customer without providing proof of payment is simply unacceptable. I would never recommend this place. It’s theft. Thank you, U-Haul, for putting me in such an unpleasant situation.
