First, the back was not completely clean. There was broken china in the back from the last customer. Second, the one we rented was not available because the person who rented it before us was still in Bowmanville when we came to rent it- which is about 90 minutes away. This meant we had to rent a 15 foot U-Haul instead of a 10 footer. Size wise, it was far bigger then what we needed and the mileage cost more because it was a larger vehicle. Third, the parking spot was inconvenient too. it was difficult to get the vehicle out because of pallets and other items in the way. We used 3 miles of gas to get it out safely (went from 146 to 143 in the parking lot). The can also was dirty- not just the back. There was still garbage in the console. Lastly, there was not a lot of gas in the vehicle. U-Haul should rent it out each time full and the never do. We were going to Mississauga and put more gas in the vehicle at the start because we were worried it would not get us there. We ended up putting more gas in the we used. We feel U-Haul should reimburse us. This should be part of the rental process where we prove what was there, how much per litre we spent and how much was there at the end. If the agent figures out how much extra gas is there, it would be more fair for the customer because the locations never put gas in the vehicles anyways. That laziness should make it so the customer never overpays in gas since we are doing their job. We would like to be reimbursed for the extra 40 litres of gas we put in, especially since there were so many issues with this rental. Please make things right.

The man working there told me next to nothing and did not explain any of the drop off procedures. The check engine light was on when I got in the truck.

James SSteering wheel was pretty shaky when slowing from highway speeds. The process was disorganized - some redundancy when providing info such as my license (uploaded a picture and the gentleman asked for it as well and entered it in his phone). Also needed to provide a second phone number which seems unnecessary. When returning he asked for a picture of the odometer and gas - however he should go and inspect the car himself - which he did after I requested he do so. The teller seemed to not really know the process. Asked if I need insurance when I already bought it online too.
