First of all, the covid precaution caused the lady renting us the truck to not be able to hear me appropriately over the phone (since it HAD to be over the phone) she messed my email up and I never got an email confirmation till I called costumer service later. Second, they gave me a truck with a broken (Very slow) gas gauge. They gave me the truck a little over a quarter tank. When I filled up the gas gauge would not go up. I wasn't aware of how much gas I was putting in. I ended up putting in 49 gallons of gas when I only used maybe 9 Totally gallons during my trip based on millage driven and considering the truck I was driving gets 10mpg. As I filled my gas tank up I remained a little above a quarter (mind you I put 96.84$ worth of gas in the tank). As I drove to the Truck drop of point, the gas gauge began to slowly rise higher and higher until it reached full at the drop off destination. I called to get a refund, and I am still waiting to hear back.cody P.

The inside of the trailer was clean, however the outside could have been washed. The retail transaction was not the best, they were not set up well for COVID handling and I had to stand outside and talk to the lady on the phone. There was no jack to help me take the trailer on or off my car (I was told it would be somewhere around the yard) which did not help when I was not at the yard. I was given no instructions about where to put the trailer on my return and the lady seemed unhappy with the place I put it even though it was carefully parked near the only U-haul truck on the property. I will use U-haul again, but would not likely return to this location.BRENT B.
Start by not promising a "reservation" and then not meaning it. I reserved a trailer in College Station, TX several days before my pickup was scheduled. U-Haul called a day before & said it wasn't available at location & sent me 40 miles away to Brenham. If you "reserve" something the English word means it should be there!Charles D.
The location was closed for the holiday weekend. There was a complete lack of communication between the location and Uhaul. Uhaul accused me of not returning my equipment and harassed me on July 4th. I had to take away from my time with family to deal with this false accusation. Also, don't use moving help. The unloading help did not show up. I had to unload the 26' truck and 12' trailer myself in 106 degree heat index and they have not given me a person to discuss this with. Pathetic!Jerry R.

We scheduled our rental to pick up using the online check in at 7am. This time was confirmed by email, and also by phone when the representative called us the day before. When we got there that morning, the online check in system said our order had expired. After a very long time on hold, we finally got in touch with U-haul, who said for some reason the time was showing as 7am, but really got put into the system as 8:30. Once we finally got it worked out, we got our truck, but all of the equipment we ordered was missing. Another very long hold time, and we talked to another person who informed us we would just have to wait until the location opened up at 9am. We waited, and finally got what we needed. Midway through packing we discovered that many of the moving blankets were saturated in gasoline, and were completely unusable.Jesse S.
