The general manager at the location told us he could not add extra mileage to the rental even though the first time we rented from the location the lady changed the mileage. After we asked if she could help us instead he gave us the mileage...because I paid cash I was told I had to give a $100 deposit that we would get back upon dropping the truck off at the location we were traveling to. When we got there that location does not handle cash transactions so they could not give us the $100 deposit back. The man said we would not get charged for the extra day because of the fact all of that was told to us...but we had to take it back to the Brockton location. The whole process has been a nightmare.

I am very disappointed that you are charging me a 25 cleaning fee. You website pricing does not mention it and it just added on. I think I left I bottle of water in the cab. Otherwise there was nothing to clean. Adding fees like this undermines your online pricing validity. You advertise 29 for truck and then add on price for each mile then you add on price for gas and then you add on fee for cleaning. Suddenly 29 is $150+. It's absolutely false and deceptive advertising.

Location has had a noticeable facelift; much more efficient staff, quick and easy pick up and drop off, pleasant, helpful staff, good selection of moving materials, love the new uhaul.com online check-in option to make things move along more quickly

Nothing to improve. However, the Customer Service Rep. ( Annette Bell) was excellent. She was professional, Patient knows her information well. Represented U-Haul Well. She demonstrated Leadership qualities. She made me feel comfortable and confined. She was able to relsove the issue immediately. She would make a good supervisor/manager.

I returned the van within a couple of hours of use. Spoke with a representative who checked the van over and told me I was all set and I'd get an emailed receipt. 2 days later I receive an email saying I still have the van. I'm currently still trying to get the situation fixed. I would recommend asking for an immediate receipt when returning a vehicle to avoid this hassle.

Truck wasn't ready at 0900, nor was it at my intended pick up location. Battery had died, but it was the only one left so we had to take it. Not a great experience

The wait time to pick up the uhaul was crazy. I stood in line for 30 minutes to pick up a reservation that I already checked in for using the online check in. There needs to be a way to speed up the process in this type of situation.

The equipment was fine, but customer service was lacking. The woman who checked me in barely spoke & mumbled everything I asked about. It was a lackluster experience.

Wait time was over 1 hour with 2 other customers in store, a worker and assistant manager. The worker was outside helping customers, but the assistant manager inside was not professional, did not resolve problems, and frankly was off putting and rude. Told several time there was nothing she could do for me, and I had to be aggressive and insistent before anything was done. Ultimately, the issue is still not resolved fully and I am still waiting for the general manager to give me a call.

I don't really like Brockton...not the safest town. I definitely would not leave me car there if I was doing an in town delivery. I guess its fine for people that already live in Brockton or don't mind it.

Right mirror was missing and we didn't notice it until we were on the highway. Very dangerous and inconvenient. A vehicle should be inspected before it's rented.
