I paid to rent the U-Haul van at a flat rate for one day for 100 miles. At check out they didn't want me to complete the damaged insepection, they had already removed their copy and when I went ahead and did the inspection anyway and offered to let them make a copy they refused. the truck odometer was set to kilometers and i pointed this out to them as well, they said no problem the system calculates it properly when you bring the van back. when I returned the van they took the reading, it said I used 116 kilometers but they interpreted it as miles and said that I went over my limit and charged me extra. A kilometer is .62 miles. If you do the calculation I only used 72 miles so therefore was within agreed upon mileage. They weren't capable or willing to do the math of kilometers to miles They told me if I didn't like it not to rent from U haul. I have used uhaul numerous times but I am completely disgusted by this experience and will now avoid uhaul at all costs

Have the system actually running. I picked up the van and the system was down I also checked the van back in and the system was down there was no way to go over mileage and gas when I arrived at 10:45 pm, so they checked me in as returning the van this morning which isn’t true.

The uhaul office charged me for a broken driver side mirror which I did not break. The uhaul rep did not bother to check the before and after state of the vehicle and then filed a claim for a broken mirror without evidence or contacting me. This is unethical, and I am intending to dispute this. I will not be using this location again - maybe not even using uhaul overall if this is not resolved.

Have more vehicles available. I had originally needed to rent this van on the Saturday. Due to non being available on actually day of need, I opted for the next available day.

High demand in the area, low supply. The cargo van I reserved wasn't available for several hours after I had requested it. The workers there were amazing and did what they could to help. I wish they had had more support or options for fixing the issue.

That truck was so old it didn’t even ran good thru the hole time I had it also it felt like I had to fight with the steering wheel in order to drive straight and as for cleaness I had to wash my hand like 20 times every time I drove my hand felt so nasty me and my friend even said at the same time that once we get home we was going to take are Cloths off and throw them away ASAP Thatz how nasty that truck was to me that truck need to be put in the junk yard already so nasty never again I told one of the workers that about the nastyness in that truck and all he said was yes many people rent that truck but to me it just look like someone was living in that truck you really need to see that 15 foot truck in the inside and out to really see wat iam talking about real nasty never again......,..,

I picked up the truck just before 2pm, on a tight moving schedule. As I got out of the parking lot I noticed the steering wheel was not aligned AT ALL. I kept driving the truck as I had movers coming and exactly 6 hours to complete the move. The air-conditioner was not working either! As I was driving back, in the dark, the dashboard light would not turn on (I pushed, clicked and turned every knob and button that I could think of). When I returned the truck and complained about its condition, I was told that it was my job to check it! I was charged for gas (I could not fill it up, as I was desperate to get back in one piece, and could not imagine having to turn around a tight gas station with a mis-aligned steering wheel). I was not offered any compensation for the fact that I was driving a defunct truck. And no one took any responsibility for letting me drive off with such a vehicle off of the parking lot. It is UHAUL's responsibility to check the vehicles they provide! I am appalled both at the fact that I was given that trun and also that no one offered any compensation. It is a stain on UHAUL's good reputation!

Your app has problems processing this franchise location for vans, only until I switched to box truck did it allow to process. They did have vans

Had to jump through hoops just to pick up my rental. I did the expedited process online and it still took over an hour to get my van. And then the paperwork was wrong so I rushed my van back when I didnt even have to... SMH!!

There were details on the van that needed attention, mostly the knob for controlling the airflow was broken. That was all.

The customer service here was a nightmare. The communication was dismissive and rude. They did not have the equipment and forced me to wait 4 hours before I could get anything with multiple trips back and forth to the location. I needed the truck for business. It ended up being a major liability. I did not get the 10 foot box truck that I originally reserved. I ended up with a cargo van that was not large enough for my freight. The van was not clean and smelled awful as if someone threw up in it. The workers were rude and told me that I was a "cheap" customer and a waste for them due to my mileage estimate. They did not go through the usual rental protocol and simply handed me my keys and forced me to get the van out of a tight spot in a busy gas station. I called Uhaul to file a complaint and I am waiting to speak with a regional manager. The contract/final amount is wrong as the return date is inaccurate.
