This place is running some kind of scam. I rented a van from them a month ago and everything was paid upon return of the truck. Yesterday I received an email from u-haul saying I owed an additional $57, but there is nothing noted in my account saying what the amount is for. The email also said I had seven days to pay the amount before incurring a $30 late fee. However they charged my card for $96 on the same day the email was sent! I’m in the process of contacting my bank to cancel my card so they can’t keep charging me whenever they feel like doing it to line their pockets.

Do a walk through of the vehicle before hand. The one I rented had a busted light and think that could be used as an excuse to charge for a new one. Etc.

Horrendous experience. I was overcharged 200 miles ($400) and had to call and call and call again to provide evidence and then more evidence until I finally was able to convince a customer service case manager that I was telling the truth (had to provide photographs and toll receipts to belie a sloppy report made by the representative from whom I rented the Uhaul). Even then, they tried to offer me a Uhaul gift certificate. Had to call again and finally after an hour of reviewing the evidence for the 4th time someone ("michey" a wonderful rep) gave me the number of a regional manager. Absurd. Never again.

They didn't have the 15' truck I reserved to move my two-bedroom. I had to wait 20 minutes to get a 10' truck. I ended up having to make THREE trips with two hired hands from taskrabbit. That cost me 70/hr over the course of at least an extra hour for the move. They also gave me an appliance dolly instead of a normal one, so it was totally useless. Didn't realize that until I got home and the move was well underway. I had a 6 hour rental, and I still had things to move at the end. I had to return the truck. 3 pieces of furniture I've had for years are going on craigslist now because they have to out by Sunday and there's no way for me to get them out. This has been the worst moving experience I've ever had, and that says a lot.

One, the online check-in process is atrocious and incredibly buggy. Two, the parking at this location is pretty difficult, especially in a truck. It's all street parking, so nearby spots are usually filled up with regular cars, and it's incredibly difficult to park a truck parallel on a narrow, busy street.

They took an hour to check in my reservation. There was barely any gas when I received the vechicle and then charged me an additional fee of $50 without caviating that to me before my rental began. This is was one of the worst rental experiences.

There was some paper in the cab, not totally clean but the managers/owners there are good guys. FAST service, the trunks/vans/ in very good running order. I rented twice this year so far. Easy to get a vehicle and also easy to park later in day in the area so you can leave your personal car while you use the UHAUL! RECOMMEND\

The van was dirty and it smelled. It had snowed heavily the night before, the van was fully covered in snow and every time I hit the breaks a huge pile of snow would come rushing down over the windshield and pile up on the wipers. It felt very unsafe.

The man at the front desk had me wait for my van so HE could purchase something online. I had already done express so I could t quickly check out but still had to wait 15 mins for him to purchase his item. Then when I returned the van, he got in and got on his phone and didn’t inform me that I could leave nor go over the mileage so once again I stood waiting for 10mins till I tapped on the window to ask him what was going on. He told me I could leave. It was a ridiculous

I’ts a transmission shop so don’t expect white glove service. The van was easy to rent online and was ready when I arrived. The gentleman handling the rental was friendly and efficient. Returning it was no problem and when my receipt arrived I was charged the correct amount.
