This particular location was fine; small parking lot, but they took the truck anyway. The only problem was that this was the FOURTH location we had tried to return the truck to. Each previous location was out of room. Frustrating.

The owners of the shop are very helpful and friendly, and the equipment was in excellent condition. MY ONE MAJOR ISSUE (and please, please address it!) was with returning the vehicle after hours. I was told to just park it somewhere on the street, however there was no parking available within the area (from Eastern Parkway to Atlantic, from Vanderbilt to Classon). The perimeters within which I could park the vehicle were unclear, and there were no reserved spaces. As a result, I drove around for well over an hour - wasting gas and adding miles to my total - just to find a parking spot. Perhaps on a week night this would not be a problem, but on a Friday night in Brooklyn, parking was an absolute nightmare and added needless stress and time/money wasted to the already difficult process of moving. Unless that changed, I would be hesitant to recommend this location to other friends. Again, the shop owners were lovely - it is just the logistics of returning the vehicle late at night.

It took long to do self checkout because the agent was busy and had to take me to the location of the vehicle which was parked a block away. Also the vehicle was not very clean and smelled in the back, although I marked it clean when I checked out. Finally, I was not aware that I had to put the fuel to the same level and came to know during return process, at which point I didn't want to go back and fill it. Overall an ok experience and it got the work done.

Washington Transmissions gave incorrect return instructions - called customer service at 9:00pm when returning and was provided no solution. I was told I would not be held responsible for the vehicle being improperly parked. Received a ticket AFTER receiving a notice stating, "Successfully returned and no violation issued". Uhaul corporate did not follow up after case action claim was submitted. I had to pay for a 125.00 violation that I called to avoid. POOR, POOR customer service and UNPROFESSIONAL vendor.

I wanted to get a dolly added to my order but they said that I couldn't get one since I didn't reserve it in advance. It would have been nice to get it when I picked up the truck. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and professional.

They called me at 11:30am for a 12:30pm pick-up to say they wouldn't have a truck available until 2pm, so I had to re-arrange all of my scheduled movers and wasted so much money because of Uhaul.

The utility dolly which we requested was not in the truck, yet we were still charged for it. And the e-mail which was given in order to write back did not work, so there was no way to even bring up the issue at any point (except by calling in, though after 10 minutes on hold I hung up, this is a waste of time). Not the kind of experience I expect.

When someone makes a reservation, please reserve the truck, or at least dont make it available to reserve if it can not be reserved.

My Rental Pick Up experience at this location was an absolute disaster. I would not recommend doing ANY business with this location, especially UHaul. I made this reservation 1-month in advanced to make sure a truck is available on the day of moving. I arrived for pick up and was told immediately by the desk admin "We have a problem, I have no truck for you". His name was Arnold Boyer. He was rude and had a nasty attitude. It was 9AM, there were 2 other frustrated customers with no truck. He is not a good fit for this customer serving job. He can careless if anyone gets their truck or not. After being told I would not get a truck, he asks for my credit card??! I asked why, if there is no truck what are you charging? He had the audacity to say "Do you want the truck or not?". Takes my credit card and does not explain any additional fees that was added to my reservation. Not only did I have to deal with his nastiness, I was charged an additional $27.55 for CLEANING FEE? Finally got the truck 45 minutes after my reservation.... How can Uhaul be in partners with a company who does not know how to serve customers? That is his JOB, if you can't do it, I will make sure someone else who is more qualified CAN. This is completely unacceptable and I wish that this experience does not happen to anyone else. DO NOT GO HERE.
