Service was efficient and professional. Team members were courteous and friendly. I'll definitely return if the need arises, and will refer friends. Pricing is a little deceptive from advertised fee, but was still pretty reasonable.

There was soap scum all over the inside windshield. I could not see clearly out the window because of the soap scum. And I didn't have a rag to wipe it clean until my return trip. So my ride from the uhaul facility to my first location was unsafe due to soap scum causing a limited view out the front windshield. Come on!! If the cleaning crew used a little common sense while wiping the inside windshield, it would be much appreciated. Nobody wants to drive with an obstructed view due to soap scum on the glass. That is extremely unprofessional and lazy. The windshield was noticeably dirty. Nobody wants to waste their time wiping down the inside windshield when they pick up the truck, nor do they expect to have paper towels with them at the time of the truck pickup. The workers have really been low quality at this location in the past year. They used to be excellent. But, there must not be any accountability any more.

Give them good condition truck nice and clean. $29.99 went to $70. Doubt about it. I don’t think I’m gonna recommand u haul to anybody. Sorry to say very bad experience. Looks like I was driving 1945 model truck.

I recieved 2 different quotes for insurance coverage. Online was $35 for $10k worth of insurance which I had selected and confirmed. Tajh King the U-haul rep said the coverage will cost "$40 for $5k worth of insurance coverage." I told him that's not what was quoted nor offered. After arguing back and forth in front of customers, I paid the amount because I had to go and we were not moving forward. AND of course he was not able to pull up my confirmation # quote...but it'son my paperwork. Not sure where the disconnect took place but this entire transaction was UNSAT. I didnt need the coverage but that's not the point. Lessoned learned: screen shot your online quotes to CYA.

When I made my reservation it was for Cheektowaga, NY location and for 5 days. I was lucky I called to change the pick up time and was told I couldn’t have the truck for 5 days I could only have for a few hours. I told him (Paul) that I have the confirmation and he said he didn’t care that whoever took the reservation was probably sitting on a couch in their underwear and telling me whatever I want to hear and made a reservation that they shouldn’t have. I was so upset. I needed the truck and made the reservation at least 2 months prior to when I needed it. If I didn’t call to change the time I would have went to pick up the truck and he would have denied me the rental . He finally switched stuff around while I called the main office and had to go to a different location to pickup the truck. The were very nice at the Buffalo location. But have my doubts about renting from UHaul in the future.

I reserved a pickup truck that you guarantee would be available. I put in the reservation about three weeks ahead of time. The pickup truck was not available when I got to the location because I was told you only have two pickup trucks at this location and the people who rented the truck the day before did not return the trucks. This is unacceptable. How can you guarantee something will be available if it is contingent if the previous renter returns them? I was forced to rent another truck because the pickup was unavailable. The new truck they gave me was the same renting fee; however, the gas, mileage and insurance was more expensive than the pickup truck that I reserved. So my bill was $55 plus I put $15 gas in the vehicle; so it cost me $75. Whereas, if I would have gotten the pickup truck it would have been about $30 cheaper. Your website said the insurance was $10, but my bill showed the insurance was $14, probably because this truck is not as safe to drive. It has blind spots and it not as safe to drive as the pickup truck. I prefer to drive the safer less expensive pickup truck that I reserved 3 weeks ahead of time, but was not available. No body offered me a credit on my account for breaking the guarantee. Also you did not have enough employees at the counter on a Sunday morning, so I was waiting in line almost a half hour on a Sunday. This is unacceptable. You had never had a vehicle not available in my previous times I've rented. But, it was urgent I had the right vehicle I reserved, but you failed me severely this time around. I needed the pickup truck, not the 10" truck replacement that you can't see out the rear that is more dangerous to drive.

By far the worst experience I have had with Uhaul, the young men who was trying to take care of me was in contact with whom I can only guess was the store manager who over the phone had a piss poor attitude. not only did it take well over a half an hour to rent a car dolly, after I was on the road the daytime running lights didn't work, and I had to use the car I was towing lights on in order to prevent from being rear ended. When I called customer service, the young lady attitude was a little better, but I could tell she really didn't care. My advice is TRAINING ! and more TRAINING ! I should have never left the lot with a car two dolly which was inoperable, or that should have been deadline in the system and SHOWED it as such. So your other location can see what equipment is working and what is not.

Was very upset you didn't have truck that I needed at the location I wanted. So I had to take extra time to drive 10 miles further to get truck. That cost me an additional 20 dollars for milage+ cost of gas. You had a lot of trucks at that location so yo yo must not distribute them correctly not like anyone will read this or do anything about it. Waste of my time
