The truck had a huge dent at the driver's side wheel well. The interior of the cab was filthy, with dried mud covering the floor of the driver's side. The interior of the back also had a layer of dirt. It was clear no one had bothered to sweep out the back before handing the truck over to us, and whoever had the truck before us moved muddy things or worked on a muddy day. My final receipt showed a $30 Safe Move charge when I had clearly chosen the $15 coverage option, having even spoken to the associate at Purple Peddler about choosing the cheaper option when I picked up the truck. And they charged me for two gallons of gas. I was directed to bring back the truck with the gas gauge slightly above the quarter tank mark. I did that. How in the world they could tell whether it was two gallons more or less than what it was when I picked up the truck is beyond me. Between the up charge on the coverage and the two gallons of gas they charged me, it felt very shady, with them looking for ways to pad out the final payment.

While the return location was suitable, it was five miles from my destination. Another UHaul location was three blocks from my destination. It's apparent you are more interested in throwing bones to vendors than you are to customer convenience and satisfaction. I regret that there was no recourse for me given that I returned the vehicle with more gas than I accepted it.

roberto S.The location did not have the dolly that I reserved and did not notify me prior to equipment pickup and had the nerve to suggest that I waste time and gas going to another location to get a dolly and then call the corporate office to get my money back for it. The agent and the owner were very argumentative and did not offer to make the situation right. I'm supposed get $50 for reservations that are not honored and the dolly was not available.
