This was a great experience. I pre-registered online and that made getting the truck very fast once I got there. Everyone here is low key but helpful. And the 1-day van rentals are extremely economical compared to zipcar. I'll be back.

The after-hours return process was a bit stressful, as all metered spots near the location were occupied. I tried calling to find out about alternate drop-off locations but ultimately gave up and managed to find a spot when someone left.

Customer service was not responsive. I asked a clarifying question about the price of the rental (i.e. why it was higher at the location versus the price in the email I received when making the reservation) and the staff appeared irritated and could not explain the extra charge. Perhaps the staff thought I was accusing them of charging me more; however, I was just asking a general clarifying question. Their reaction to my question made me feel very uncomfortable.

I absolutely LOVE using the centeral square Uhaul location. All of the staff is kind, considerate, and just a joy. I rent a uhaul almost once a week for work and have yet to have a bad experience. Keep it up!

Great! Went in without a reservation - 10 minutes later left with a clean, new cargo van, furniture dolly, and boxes. They answered all my questions with a smile. Could not have gone any better. Highly recommended.

Charging $25 because the moving pads were not neatly folded and replaced in the rather fragile plastic bag they came in is unfair. I am now told that there is a sign regarding this in the van, but there are many signs in the van on many subjects. In addition, the after hours return situation is disorganized. I was told that I could return the van after hours. I was not told what the procedure was and the signs on the outside of the location are not helpful There is no parking lot to return the van to, and the idea of parking the van on the street, dropping the keys in the after hours slot and just hoping for the best seems reckless when you are faced with it.

We were told that the truck had more than 3/4 a tank of gas and we would need to fill it back to that same amount. In reality it had between 1/2 and 3/4. So we were asked to provide far more gas than the truck came with in order to not be charged

The van I rented had a damaged rear bumper, which made opening the rear right foot difficult -- it would have been nice to know about the issue in advance, however, it did not impede upon my ability to move quickly and efficiently. Thank you for the overall ease and convenience!

I rented a van and it needed an oil change so I wasn't able to see the mileage to verify if it were correct so I called one of the men in the store to help me and to also view the gas level. It said on the slip it was at 7/8 but it wasn't it was in between the 7/8 and 3/4 full line. I drove 12 miles and got 4.00 in gas when i returned it bringing it right back to where It was when I picked it up. When I returned the truck they were in the process of closing but I wanted to have the guy check the gas because I didn't want to be charged so he reluctantly came outside with me. He said it was on 3/4 tank of gas and there would be a charge for me. I said to him think logically I went 12 miles according to your truck do you honestly think I was able to use over a 1/4 tank of gas? I also told him what the man at the gas station told me and that was to let the van run for a few before checking the levels. After a brief polite pow wow between the young man and myself he agreed not to charge me for the gas. Rightfully so I didn't use what he said I did. So I sat in the van and let it run for a few and sure enough the gas went up to where i said it was when I returned it but he was already gone and advised me to put the key in the key drop slot so I couldn't show him. I took a picture to show but im unsure of how to load it here but U-haul you really need to figure this thing out because how many other ppl got charged because they didn't stand up for themselves? The slip says there was an 11.25 charge and credit for the gas. This is incorrect but I am glad they credited this as I feel I was right. Other then this the store was clean they were friendly but you could tell this young gentleman wasn't happy with me but either way he credited the gas and that was the right thing to do. I would rent from this location again but will make sure I let the van/truck run before leaving to get correct gas levels and I suggest to anyone renting to do the same. It only has to sit about 5 min before its accurate and well worth your time.
