I was given a check-in time of 8 AM; however, when I arrived, no equipment was assigned to me, and employees coldly told me they would not be open until 9 AM (they locked me out to keep from answering questions). I did not receive my equipment until 9:30 AM and watched other customers receive their equipment before me. In addition, my truck was in the back of the lot, boxed in by other vehicles. The manager did not answer his phone and did not appear to be onsite.

Take pictures of every side of the truck instead of puting stickers that can leave with rain. Then, there will be no doubt about who damage the truck. We were asked for a thing we hadn't done because of this missing stiker.

I was charged for almost 40 miles that I did not drive (7 times more than I drove!), and it took more than two weeks, and at least one and a half hours in the phone with customer care, to get the situation resolved. The manager was not helpful, and the location was hard to deal with. Only central uHaul ended up helping me through email.

Was my first time using a Uhaul and mentioned this when I got there. The guy at the front desk (saw by his name tag he was the manager) rarely looked at me when he was talking and acted like it was a chore that I was there. He didn't take me out to the truck to show me how it works or anything like that. Was looking for recommendations on things that might be needed to secure my belongings and received little to no guidance. They also said the truck was full and I got a half mile away when I realized it was really only 3/4s full (about 30 bucks in gas money for a 15 foot truck like this). I called back and they told me there was nothing they could do because I signed the contract. If you don't need any help/have done this before you could probably come here, but if you are new to renting a Uhaul I highly recommend you look for a different location.

Truck was given to me with only a 1/4 take of gas. This caused me to fill it greater then when I received it, therefor spending a lot more money that was unnecessary

I was using a UK licence and was not informed, before coming in, that I would therefore need a passport. After an hour’s drive to Cambridge, it was frustrating to have to turn around and go home. I recognise that this was the fault of the telesales operative, not the centre, but staff at the centre were neither polite nor helpful in trying to find a solution. I was also disappointed to be charged for fuel, in the basis that I received it supposedly 3/4 full - in reality it was 5/8 but the representative had disappeared before I could challenge the reading. I had hoped that as he didn’t split hairs over 1/8 when I picked it up, he wouldn’t upon return. I will be writing to UHaul to request the fuel charge be refunded. Otherwise, however, this particular representative was polite, cheerful and efficient.

My CC was charged 3 times the amount. Was rectified the next day but was a hassle calling customer care and getting it sorted.

Move truck into open before inspect (cannot self check-in properly). Unable to confirm drivers license despite clearly matching numbers. Only gave 1 bag of pads but paid for two; unclear how many pads per bag until gone. Update website: truck dimensions do not account for wheel well or door! There is room for king mattress in 10’ truck but then door must remain half closed! Loading took twice as long.

way too many new steps at the beginning. Had to decline added insurance 3 times the provide details for my insurance. Had to have uhaul call and verify who i was - I have a government issued license, that verifies me! Last year I didn't have so many hoops to jump through and it was fine, this experience was pretty terrible.

I returned the truck after closing time. The lot entrance was hard to see at night, and the lot was badly filled - it was only two thirds full but the open lanes were almost completely blocked by somebody's uhaul parked on the street. The online return app was very long and frustrating, over 20 minutes. The key drop was very hard to find from the parking lot, especially at night.

The staff was unhelpful at all! Not like close by location. They were not give us any direction for return car after hrs. They want to go home!!! Second, the fuel doesnot reflect on what it is! I have to complain with them until they looked again carfully (huge different) 25% if it Finally, there are 3 staffs sit and enjoy talking but the customer like 5 perple in line! So relax office!

The smartphone app DOES NOT WORK -- wouldn't let me upload photos or click on buttons, and crashed constantly. I was in a time crunch and lost valuable time frustrating myself with the app. If I'd been picking up or returning after hours, I'm not sure what I would've done. The agents were pretty snooty about helping me with checkin after I parked in the lot and the app wouldn't work.
