I had a fairly good experience here -- had to wait to check in, but reserving on the phone with Rachel had been great. However, I was told to call to comfirm a time that I would be returning the van -- and the man on the phone refused to say what the return time in their system was -- kept telling me to " read (my) contract. Finally he confirmed the return time that had on the account. Very unpleasant, especially since I had been told to call. Then, though, actually returning the van was fine. Employees tend to be grumpy, unsmiling, give instructions too fast. Slow down and be Friendly! This would improve the experience so much!!

The van smelled strongly of very gross chemically car freshener. I had to open all the windows. Please don’t use these smelly products! Staff were great.

1. Rude and very condencending counter representative. 2. Vehicle was night dropped Dec. 2, 2018 but, was charged and additional day for the second. 3. Called to confirm the policy on Gas refueling. Was told if you add more than what you left with, you do not get a credit for the extra amount you put in. 4. The outside of the Van was not cleaned. All other rentals I've had this year were totally cleaned and fresh.

I do not like the idea that the counter person uses her personal phone to take a picture of my drivers licence. With identity theft on the rise this is a breach of personal security.. I suggest you change this policy as I have never seen this procedure before.in your other locations. please confirm she was instructed to do so.

This rental was an excellent experience all around. The van was rented the night before and was ready at 9 am as requested. The van was immaculate and the rented dolly was ready on time as well. Staff was friendly and competent. Van was returned a few minutes before the iffice closed and they were accommodating and helpful. Thank you!!

I have had many issues with inconsistent billing for things like fuel level, milage usages and receiving final receipts. This most recent rental there was never a receipt emailed to me that differed from the estimate. I drove only 18 miles and they still charged me for the 20 mile estimate. on multiple occasions i have been marked up on small amounts like extra miles and fuel charges. This has only happened to me when I drop the vehicle off and if i don't wait to make sure that they read the gas and mile readings in front of me and confirm the totals. My receipt for the last uhaul rental has still not been emailed to me or updated. I had another issue a few months ago when I was charged $430 for a hitch and installation that they were not able to instal on my car. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the hitch and installation that I ordered on line ended up spending an hour on the phone with uhaul in order to get the charge refunded to my card.

Guys inside didn't tell me where to find my truck. When I went back inside, they gave me a general idea (in the pouring rain). When I went back in a third time because I couldn't find my truck (they said the number's on the truck, not WHERE it was on the truck -- hard to find in a downpour) I had to drag one of them out with me.

This rental was good, except the Gas Gauge going out was incorrect compared to what was last used.. The vehicle claimed to be Half Full, but the actual reading was about a 1/4 less. Local rental Mileage per mile should be less than $1.09. Thats really expensive. Does U-Haul offer Corporate/Small Business discounts on rental charges?

Not a thing. The cats at the Central Square location did the thing right. I was late on both ends of my rental, and they were understanding, informative, and a complete pleasure to work with during what is always a stressful time: moving across town. Thank you for asking. When I called later in the day to ask a question about the return location for the trailer, the employee was unknowledgable and rude. He was unable to tell me how to process the return if the location was closed. In fact, no one eve mentioned to me that the location would not be open and I should go through the self-checkout process. It would have been nice to get these details beforehand.

I had a horrible experience using the self-check option because my rental was not ready. I took an Uber from the airport and as I followed the directions to retrieve the rental, I get a message that I needed to call a 24/7 number for support. I called said number for 90 minutes and no1 answered. I would only suggest this location because it the only option in Cambridge but my experience was trash
