We reserved the uhaul ahead of time but still had to wait over an hour before we left with the truck. He had no idea what he was doing. This made us late for picking up and added stress to the entire day. I'll never use uhaul again !

Feb 2015 we had a terrible experience with Uhaul, we booked a 17' truck to move our 3 storey house and on pick up were given a cargo van because the truck was not available. The van was completely useless to our move. I booked with Uhaul last week against my husband's wishes and reassured him this couldn't happen twice. I even called Uhaul 4 separate times this week and asked if the 15' truck we requested online would be at our chosen location, the location was changed to a different city. We were ok with this even though it wasn't convenient at all. I called the Fairway Kitchener location 2 hours prior to our pick up to confirm the truck was there, a female employee told me the truck was there. However this was a lie, my husband arrived at the pick up location and the truck was not there. He had to drive to another location in another city to pick up the truck and because of this we missed out on 45 minutes of our allowed 2 hours of booked elevator time to move out. Two terrible experiences with Uhaul that caused stress and anger on an already stressful day.

Everything went great. Picked up the truck, no problems. I had to keep it for a few extra hours, I emailed and spoke to the area manager, he was accommodating and they didn't charge me for the extra time. Fantastic experience at all points. Hopefully I don't have to move for a long time, but if I do, I will definitely use this location again.

Only issue was that they didn't make note that I paid a $100 deposit on pick-up. If I didn't keep the receipt for the deposit they were going to charge me the full amount when I returned the truck.

This location looks like a run down convenience store in a bad neighbourhood. Both trash cans out front were overflowing and the exterior was beaten up with graffiti all over it. The people running the store were pleasant but didn't know much about the uhaul system. The truck had 3 prior contract papers with all personal info plus empty water bottles. The truck was not swept up either. Got a full dustpan full of junk before we started our move. I felt like I needed to get out of there fast. The vehicle itself was fine overall short of mess. Newer van, drove well and no concerns.

When I booked my truck I was suppose to pick up at fairway Rd in kitchener. The morning of I got a text saying to go to queen st in Cambridge. I thought this was some kinda of typo, since this was the 3 correspondence with a different address on it. We went to fairway, where we were told we had to go to Cambridge. We were not happy at all. Another customer had to go to Guelph for his rental. Very frustrating!! I will not use uhaul again and will tell everyone possible about the horrible customer service I received. The desk clerks were calm at fairway. I guess they have to put up with this crap a lot. I just don't understand how u can have an agreement with someone to pick up at one location and then change that the morning of. So we have to pay more mileage because of ur poor planning. And the sad part is people have to do this because they r moving that day and need the vehicle. Not impressed!

Not bad! Fuel gauge was hard to read (it didn't seem to move up after we filled the tank, not for several kilometers. We would not have been able to find a gas station and still return it in time). SUPER easy to use the ramp!

Small convenience store. I checked in online but initially I had to go through the full process again until I reminded that I'd already checked in - better organization could improve the experience. Truck had window open so there was ice on the drivers seat, also the cargo door on the truck was sealed shut with ice and I had to delay the start of the move to find hot water. It would have been better if someone had checked that first. No walk around was done.

Very the drop off to be very sketchy. The inside of the store was very creepy. The young man behind the counter was friendly but very much by the book and not very accomodating. I've never been charged for being over by 4.8 miles before and found this to be very petty.

The location was fine. U-Haul itself was absolutely terrible to deal with from a customer service perspective. After being given a truck two cities away I contacted customer service and was given a discount on the mileage for the rental and was told a note would be made about it. Come moving day I found out I was not actually given the discount and when I tried to contact customer service I was told that there was no note on the change and hung up on twice. I've called and requested a copy of my initial phone call but have yet to receive it. We have the actual move to another city coming up in 2 weeks and there's no way I'll be using U-Haul as this is the second straight time of a poor experience with the company.

Its all good, a little tricky to get in and out of but the guys try to make it work and generally do a good job. Will recommend them and use them again.

Tow dolly dirty beat up and old. Right running tail light not working. This was dismissed by the attendent. Try to fix myself, but could not get into the unit. Not good to have equipment without all lights working. Poor
