Did not feel right renting from a Liquor store. The truck was filthy, had to sweep the back when I got to my apartment. Also, no one helped me with getting to the right truck. I had to try each truck until the key worked. The mileage was not checked before to confirm. Just overall below average. It is a shame to UHauls Reputation.

I will NEVER rent from these people again. First off, they have the incorrect phone number listed with Uhaul, so when you get the text telling you to call to confirm, they tell you another number to call. Secondly, this is a liquor store and they care more about their liquor customers and make the renters wait while they ring up the liquor customers. Lastly, I input the city/location I would be dropping off at, they changed it to another out of the way location causing me to have to call customer service and sit on hold for almost 30 minutes just to get it corrected so I'm not charged a fee for wrong drop off location. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The owner did not go over the vehicle with me to mark any previous damage. The truck barely had over 1/2 a tank of gas but contract stated 3/4 so I had to put more gas to keep from getting charged extra. I was quoted $29.95 for my truck but paid $39.95. It took a very long time to set up and the owner had to call uhaul for assistance which reading previous reviews and witnessing it myself seems to be the norm. When I tried to return the truck the owner was with another customer trying to rent them a truck. I waited over 30 minutes before deciding to leave and run errands. The owner seems like a nice guy but it took way too long to get and return a truck. I will never get a uhaul from this store again and will definitely not recommend them to anyone I know unless they're in no rush and want a nap while the owner tries to figure out what he's doing.

Employees didn't know how to operate the system had to call to place the rental was over charged for the use of a trailer. Fender was damaged on the the trailer but had been previously noted. Once returning the trailer was charred again for a total of almost $100.00 for two days and bringing it back to the location. Was supposed to be 29.99 a day if I brought it back to this location.

Took over two hours to process rental paperwork. Middle eastern man at pick up location didnt know what he was doing and u hauls computer system went down. The pick up location had no manual contracts which could have sped up the process. While using the truck the airbag light kept coming on and going off. Also the service vehicle light came on. Also I turned the truck off, removed the key, and it kept running. This happened three different times. This was my first time renting from u haul and it will be my last.

I checked in online hoping the trailer would be ready but it wasn’t. Not only that but we had to change trailers because a tire had a hole. Owner needs to definitely be more organized.

Had trouble with my first location not having the equipment i need , it was transferred to another location without my knowledge. asked for the area rep to call me Friday afternoon about my problem but he never called my . He did have it set up at another location after I had the first location call him. i would like a call from Kevin's boss whom ever that might be!!!!!

Training of staff. It took almost an hour to get the rental and they entered it into computer several times and never got it right. I call U haul Office to get return location corrected and price adjustment but I was still over charged. Now I have to call again

Reservation was for pickup in Gun Barrel City, TX. When I called two days before I was told the 17' truck we reserved was not available, but a 20' was and would be available at no extra charge. At that time, the Gun Barrel City agent said he could not say exactly which location would have the 20' truck until the day of pickup. When we learned it would be Caney City, TX (~20 miles south of Gun Barrel) we were surprised, but didn't have time to protest. Reservation was adjusted for additional mileage (thank you!), but the issue was time. We had arranged moving personnel to be at our house at 11 am and we would pick up truck at 10 am, which would not have been a problem if the pickup process had worked like it was supposed to. Agent in Caney City completely unacceptable. We were there an hour (actually started working on our rental 15 minutes earlier than the 10 am start of business day) attempting to complete our rental. First she selected a truck that was not available for a customer; she input all this information when my husband happened to notice the tag said "not available for customer", so had to start over with new truck number. Could not get your computer system to complete our transaction. Agent had to call your headquarters for assistance, and two local people familiar with your system to help with the process. We pleaded with them to hurry as we had mover personnel at our house waiting for the truck, and we had to drive ~20 miles on winding country roads to get to our house. Finally completed process, but it was a real nail biter. Completely different situation in Cedar Hill, TX (final storage destination). This agent was the "picture of efficiency" immediately called up our reservation, helped us adjust the size of the storage unit we were renting, EXTREMELY EFFICIENT, spoke BEAUTIFUL English, facility office and storage area spotless. I cannot brag enough about this agent, Marquis Grace. He was a delight to work with and went a long way toward assuring us that our belongings were in good hands. He is exactly what a customer looks for in a transaction, but he is such an exceptional employee, he would contribute elsewhere in your organization in an area of increased responsibility rather than on "point of sale". I sincerely appreciated him exactly where he was, but he has much more potential for your company with increased responsibilities.
