Ask more confirming questions or repeat customer requests for clarification. I thought I asked for appliance dolly, but got to my house to find a furniture dolly in the truck. Might have been my mistake, but could have been prevented with questioning.

This location was very efficient. It took maybe 5 minutes to get paperwork done, hooked up and ready to go. When returned it maybe took 2 minutes to unhook and get back on the road.

Provide a key to the outer doors to the indoor storage units. We inadvertently took the key with us and had to return it. Staff was extremely helpful and patient.

I had a good experience with the location, but a bad experiences with the scheduling of the proper time for pick up. I was told I could have a 26 foot truck on the 31 at 3:00pm. I went to the local center and the truck wasn't available till the next day they said at 3:00pm and to have for 24 hours. I went in the next day and they said they had no truck available for me again and I said I wasn't leaving until I got a truck since I had family member drive 6 hours to help me move and they had to stay at my house a day extra already. They got me a truck finally and said it was from 3:00pm, but I would have to drop it off at 6:45 in the morning not the 24 hours I originally asked for. The staff was as courteous as could be but the process of Uhaul scheduling in seriously broken and needs revamped. I don't believe I should have even had to pay for my truck for all the stuff I dealt with. I would pay for mileage but since I was screwed around so much the truck should have been for free. I manage a facility and this is pretty bad customer service overall. I should get a refund of my $29.99 truck expense. Please refund the $29.99 for my hassle. I use Uhaul when needed but can change who I use, use social media word of mouth to express what happened to me. Thanks and have a good day!

Arrived for a trailer rental on Sunday AM. There was only 1 person working and I was 4 customers back. I was not happy about waiting. The employee did a good job of taking care of everyone and delivering the rentals to us, but it took too long.

Your employees were rude and uncompassionate and confrontational. The store charged us a key cutting fee of 180.00 even though we returned the key in the provided drop box. I tried to explain this to the employees as well as explain I could not afford to be out of money due to a chronic illness that requires me to go to dialysis. I explained I could not get to my dialysis treatment if i wasnt refunded and was n laughed at by your uhaul employees. I have yet to recieve a refund over 24 hours later. They promised to review security tapes to see us dropping off the keys in drop box. But the general manager has not even called me to follow up. I will not recommended this company and I will tell all my friends about my experience.

The gentleman who assisted me at the Cape Location was very helpful. UNFORTUNATELY - The 24 foot U Haul was an absolute MONSTER - The transmission is going out on this truck and it was nearly impossible to steer. I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER THREE TIMES AND ALL TIMES WAS MET WITH RUDE PEOPLE. I have used U-Haul for over 20 years in my moves. I am SO angry with UHaul that unless SOMEONE CONTACTS ME AND MAKES THINGS RIGHT I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICES AGAIN. KIM FERRONATO 573-450-6492. 11/29/15

Employees at this location rarely answer the phone. The gas tank level on my rental was incorrectly marked on the initial contract. I tried calling the store to correct this and was rolled to a call center. The rep I spoke with on that call wasn't interested in helping me at all and would only respond if I asked him a question, otherwise would just sit in silence on the line. It was awkward. After asking how we could fix the problem he told me I'd need to redo the entire contract in the store to change the gas level, and that it was my fault for not double checking, etc. He did not offer to do anything to resolve the issue. I drove up to the store itself and the employee there fixed the issue in a few seconds and apologized for the poor customer service from the call center.
