Pick up was very easy. Drop off could not be completed via the website. I waited on hold and was told I'd have to come in the next day to complete the return. I called and had to leave a message. I never got a return call, was charged the $20 fee for not completing the online drop off, called again and still have not gotten a returned call. This is a fixable problem and if it were fixed I'd rate the location as EXCELLENT.
Was dropped offf at 2:30 d not know why charged a late fee? Did know I was going to need to pay for gas. you need to check into this the guy that was there said he would check in after I left quess I should of forced him to do right away!!! Dale Meyers Jr
Someone should be at the location for pickup. It took us an hour to get our truck which we had taken care of on line. What a screwed up mess it turned out to be. And then the lock box with the keys wouldn't open either.
Everything was great. Except the fact is smelled like pot. I told Bill and he offered another truck. I declined as I was in a rush. But otherwise everything was great.
The online check in was quick, easy and made the experience go smoothly.

The truck interior was dirty. Especially with Covid 19, I would had expected better. I took a lysol wipe to the steering wheel, ect. and it was nasty. Also, when an employee tells you that you are all set to go, one would expect the key to be in the truck but no. They had to hunt it down. Bill, the manager was very nice but it is those reasons, I had to rate it just average.
No point to online check in. Had to walk in after all and seemed like I annoyed the employees. The man who handed me the keys pointed to one size of the parking lot and said "your truck is in the corner there." It was only then did I realize there were two trucks in two different corners. I got into the wrong one at first, it smelled like cigarettes. The second one (the correct one) had a lawnmower in front of it and a car beside it that I had to navigate around. It just wasn't a seamless experience.

I am very dissatisfied with the $20 "convenience fee" for returning my equipment "after store hours". This is not a good customer experience that is not justified by any logical means. There is no extra effort on the part of U-Haul to complete my rental process regardless of whether I see a person live at the desk or drop off my key in a dropbox (which is attached to the door of the U-Haul office). Especially during this time of limiting face-to-face interaction, I am being penalized for social distancing. I am requesting a return phone call from U-Haul Customer Service and a refund of the $20 convenience fee on my card.
The online experience of picking up the truck is weak.

The process was Simple and straight forward. Friendly staff.
Clean the cab floor and try to have someone knowledgeable of the uhaul process on duty.
Bad experience with the 24/7 phone location was on but would not work took 1/2 and needed help to complete the process...same dropping the truck of would not recognize my location spent another 20 min or so no results...so I wish not to be charged the $20 fee at time of drop off...wast of time ...not happy ??
Had Unable to Process issues before pickup and at drop off. Guy at day didn't want to be bothered with and had to process it manually. Did online chat 2X with no results.
Nothing I can think of. The rental went smoothly and the service was very, very, good.
Customer service and equipment were good. I was grossly overcharged on mileage but Carmel Welding is looking into it. I was charged for 724 miles but only actually drove about 115 miles. I will not use UHaul or recommend them ever unless this charge is changed but Carmel Welding is still looking into it.
Super easy and very well organized---made the process as quick and simple as possible. Followup and contact was excellent. Will def use this location in the future should I need similar service. Thank you.
