We also helped a friend get a truck from the Orchard Road location in West Columbia since this one didn't have what she needed. They tried to make her put more gas in the vehicle than was in it when she picked it up and the mileage seemed a little high. If tie downs were supposed to be included they weren't there. After protest, the fuel requirement was corrected.

A furniture dolly was not available. Manager stated she would remove it from the contract and I assumed she would. It did not happen and return location along with Uhaul was looking for the item. Do what you say you will do.

More staff to reduce wait times for service

I Picked up a truck at one time and went back later to pick-up a trailer. there was a return address for me to drop off the equipment, I dropped off a trailer and a truck at the Knot Abbott Road location on a Friday the 16th. I received a call on Sunday18th from the Garners ferry Rd location stating the trailer was not dropped off but the truck had been. After speaking to someone at both locations I returned a call on Wednesday the 21st still no information on the whereabouts of the trailer. Today is the 26th and there still has been no communication on the trailer. I asked it the number on the receipt next to the trailer was the trailer Id # for inventory purposes, I was told Yes and the trailer could not be rented to someone else if it has not been checked in, it would have to be checked in first. I feel like this issues in not a major concern for those employed at U-Haul. Today is November 27,2018 and I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this situation. I am very unhappy with the process thus far.

The pick up location was not the same as I made with my online reservation. I got notification the day before that my pick up location was moved to a place that wasn't going to be open. VERY FRUSTRATING to have to take an hour out of my saturday to correct UHauls mistake! The third location I was lined up for had a very courteous young man who got my paperwork done quickly and I was on my way in no time - excellent. The only problem was with dispatch screwing up my reservation.



The equipment had road grim and salt spray all over from being up north, should have been pressure washed



If there were no cell phones while working it would have been Excellent

I still have no idea the breakdown of the final cost. I went there the next day and they couldnt give me a receipt for my purchase. I cant find it online either, so I have no idea the breakdown of the final cost



the return procedure was a little difficult on line and they tried to send me to a location way across town and at the store they want you to leave the entire receipt booklet I think (got a little confused on that part) but some like something to hold on to in way of paper work until the transaction is complete over all good experience though

Everything was great except the mobile drop off. We used uhaul twice in one weekend, and we had to do the after hours check-in. The website would take us through the whole process and then crash at the very end several times. Very frustrating.

I had to wait for almost two hours for someone to actually show up in order to get the equipment I had reserved approximately two weeks prior. One of the ramps to the car trailer wasn’t even attached like it should have been, causing a safety hazard, and because of these caused us to arrive at our move destination over three hours late. We had to make other arrangements with the realtor and other items which should NEVER have been called for.
