Unbelievably bad pick up experience that involved a 45 minute call with U-Haul in which I spoke with 4 people, each of whom needed me to explain the situation anew. The situation being that the gas station employee has not yet checked in the truck that I was due to rent. Upon asking the gas station employee to please check in the truck so I could complete my pick up, he said that he did not work for u-haul and it was not his responsibility. It took 30 more minutes on the phone for someone to call this employee and tell them to check in the U-Haul. There are multiple printed word document signs up at this location that say “THIS IS NOT A U-HAUL DROP OFF”. Some of which are posted directly next to U-Haul branded signage. Avoid at all costs!

Cary BWhen I picked up the truck, I noticed that the hand trucks (dollies) and moving blankets were already loose and unsecured in the back of the truck. I did not use any of these items during my rental. Additionally, the cargo area was very dirty when I received the vehicle, with debris and dirt already present in the back. I am documenting the condition of the truck at pickup so there is no misunderstanding regarding the equipment or cleanliness. Since I did not use the dollies or moving blankets, I should not be charged for them. Thank you.
Uriel MI was charged 3 days when I used it for 3 hours. Have spent over 5 hours on the phone in 3 days trying to get it resolved.
