This uhaul store is great. They were helpful and had a large inventory trailers. The problem with Uhaul is there online application is absolutely terrible, confusing, not helpful. Worse yet is when you call and get the corporate office, those are the most clueless people on earth. If I recommend uhaul, I will only recommend this store.

I was sent to a yard that was shut down by the City of Chicago. It was basically in the middle of no where, and a terrible part of the city. The location isn't U-Haul's fault, but the fact that the site had been shut down for over 10 days and the website allowed me to go through the entire registration process is unacceptable. I felt in danger. The people at 1200 W. Fullerton were great. Fast check out and friendly and helpful staff at the van drop off.

Drove truck in and told the guy I'm here to return a truck. He proceeded without saying a word as if I was a wall. Extremely rude. He saw me stand there waiting for a response and completely ignored me and did his own thing. Only had enough effort to tell me I owed him 8$ because the gas level was not "full" enough to his standards. He clearly does not enjoy or love his job. Giving uHaul a bad rep.

The below items should be corrected to avoid issues in the future: - We had a double unit and the correct size was not provided which cased us to move units. Due to the way the units were constructed, there was a large 4' x 4' x length of unit was not usable since it was an area for another unit. - Since we had to change units, records were not updated which cased issues around payment being made. - Clerks should be more knowledgeable about insurance to provide accurate information to clients.

Don't tell customer that everything is ok. Charge the account 20 bucks because they were upset driver of truck did not see no trucks enter sign due to other trucks parked on the street that created a blind spot. Supervisor in green shirt safely removed the truck and placed in in the small truck lot. I walked around to the truck lot, noticed the truck was idling with the door closed and no occupants in the truck. When I entered the office I asked if there was anything else he replied no that's it and did not offer a receipt. Instead he reported gas gauge at 1/2 full instead of 3/4 full. Charged my account 21 bucks without my consent or signature. Very unscrupulous. If he is a little miffed regarding improper entry don't place the truck on idle and let the fuel gauge drop to " get" the customer. This place needs to be investigated as this was very improper and my account should be refunded. Please investigate for a" trend" because a person like that thinks he is getting away with it and I caught him. This incident happened on Sunday 6/6/17 after 6:00pm.

We waited in line for an hour and 15 minutes, and then had to argue in order to add the additional hour and 15 minutes back to our truck reservation since we were there to pick up the truck on time. In the future, there should be a separate line to accommodate customers that already reserved a truck and are just picking it up.

Provide more room between van/trucks that are returned to the lot to make it easier to find/access the key drop box. Perhaps draw parking lines & limit the numbers of vans allowed in the small return lot. We along with many others parked on the street.

I was charged twice for the same rental on Sunday 7/30. The gentleman at the desk assured me that he cancelled the extra charge but as of Wednesday 8/2 I still have not been reimbursed. Kind of upset.

At the end of the month, you should have more staff in the morning to help customers. Despite having a reservation, I waited 45min in line before picking up my truck. Additionally, the movinghelp.com service you offer is a complete waste of money.

After receiving an email confirmation that my truck was available to be picked up at the Fullerton location, I arrived and the front desk sales associate told me I was in the wrong place and that my 7:30 PM pick up was actually at the Elston Ave location. I pulled up my email to show the associate the confirmation of the Fullerton location and he mentioned that whatever shows up in the system is what he has to go by. I immediately hop in a cab to get to the Elston location in time and, of course, I show up and it's closed. I then walk the mile and a half back to the Fullerton location, in the meantime calling U-Haul to try and figure out where the miscommunication stemmed from. The agent I spoke to said that he could book me a different truck at the Fullerton location. So I went back, booked a different -more expensive- truck. A couple of things could have gone better: 1) fix your email + internal system so that there are no discrepancies. 2) Ask your sales team to first, do what the can to offer solutions to a customer who shows up at the "wrong" location instead of passing off their problems. He could have checked the hours of the store (he did and said "still go, they should be open late"). He also could have checked the Fullerton truck inventory to see if I could have rented a different truck before going to a different location. It was very poor customer service overall.
