The extreme turnover at this location speaks to the terrible management at all levels. I have been a customer for years both as a storage customer and 4x annual van rental. Both sides of the business have been a huge headache to deal with. Geographic convenience is the only reason I have continued my patronage of this establishment. If you can go elsewhere, I would strongly advise you to do so.

My truck, didn't have a ramp causing mume to have a longer loading and unloading time, which ultimately made me late on returning the vehicle and I was charged a fifty dollar late fee. When I arrived back to this facility they didn't have the starting mileage on file.

14mi & $60 turned to 140mi & $140. Employees attempted to charge me a day package which includes 75 miles plus 39 extra miles. I drove 14. I had to go back into the location claim the "day rental" was wrong. Then returned the day rental rate. They however did not adjust the miles to 14. It took a separate return to process the mile adjustment.

I received the wrong truck which caused issues. It turned out information related to the truck did not match (such as milage). I had to make a return trip to this location for the products I had ordered online as I did not receive them at my initial check out when I picked up the truck.

Well I rented a UHaul truck back in April 2016. When I arrived, I was told that the truck I was being given had an empty tank of gas. The person told me that I would get $35 back if I returned the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. After weeks of speaking with customer service I decided it wasn't worth my time. Anyways, I tell everyone this story when the ask about moving and I tell them not to use UHaul as I won't be using them ever either.

The trailer came off and when I called the help line, they had me answering questions for 20 minutes and weren't actually helping me get the pin I needed to reattach. All people and the equipment was totally fine, and yet I sat answering questions instead of solving the issue at 9pm while we were stuck on the highway. I finally just had to tell the person we had to go so we could get a cab to get into town to get the pin and the other passengers stayed behind to monitor the trailer. It was pretty frustrating overall.

I reserved the uhaul 1 week in advance. I was told I would be contacted the night before pick up for confirmation. I was never contacted. The morning of pickup I called to make sure the trailer was ready. I was told the default time had changed to noon but that I could pick it up at 0830 because it as already ready. Great. We were about to go pick it up when a different person from the office calls my dad on his phone to say that they didn't have the trailer we reserved available and that we would either have to pick another size or go to a different location. I called the office back since I was just told the uhaul we reserved was ready. The man on the phone was not apologetic at all. He said he had no idea how someone told me it was ready when they didn't even have one there. He also claims he tried to call the day before to let us know, but that they had my fathers number wrong. I asked how that was possible when they had just called my father. He didn't have an answer for me. It all seemed very disorganized and sketchy. They didn't have the right number, and now all of a sudden they do. They have the trailer ready, then all of the sudden it's not available. We ended up getting a larger trailer from the same location, however this larger uhaul made parking and maneuvering a lot more difficult then predicted. Would not ever rent from the same sketchy place again.

Very difficult to drop off a trailer at this location. It is Chicago, though, so not much infrastructure available.

It was hard to know where to drive into the building. All the signs on the street said "RETURN" and I could not find a sign to say ENTRANCE. Finally I just drove areound again and went up the RETURN ramp and I was there. A lttle stressful for an out-of-towner.

Serve customers as they come in to the store I came to the store uhaul representive seen me come in first however he took someone before me. So me making reservations and checking in online did not help because I came infront of the store at 630am got in at 7 am did not get out almost until 8 am because of the representative and not taking care of first come first serve totally unprofessional

Uhaul was fine, the movers that I hired through uhaul from the company moving help were awful. They showed up late, damaged every wooden piece of furniture they touched and didn't seem to care or take any responsibility when I pointed these things out. Dropped boxes, etc. awful experience



Staff here is always very pleasant and attentive - really my favorite UHaul location.

Truck was not ready when I arrived for prepaid move - gas was on less than 1/4 - finally drove away only to receive a call agents didn't include 12 furniture pads ???? With so little gas, returning to pick up pads was highly aggravating
