My work order was not found when I went to this location. The day before my move I was told to go this location way further from the one i signed up for. Then, I was called and told I could drop off the truck at Lawrence and Ashland, what I originally put on my order online a week previous . Upon arrival to this location for the drop off, they told me I had to pay extra to drop it off here. Then I had to drive all the way to the location I picked the truck up at. This was a mess on top of the stress of my move.

My truck pick up was supposed to be at 8 a.m., the guy shows up at 8:15 with 5 people standing outside waiting, doesn't apologize for being late. Then we get inside and have to wait 10 more minutes for him to load up his computer. I had movers and was paying by the hour so essentially this put me behind and I had to pay extra time for the movers. Also to park on their lot you have to pay $8 but cash only, I thought that was weird. Most places will allow you to park on their lot for free. Also the truck rental ended up being $40 more than the online price and he couldn't really explain why? just seemed like a real shady guy and a real shady place. I would never go back to that location.

I would recommend based on the easiness for online checkin. However, ensure equipment is in vehicle rented. I ordered half dozen blankets that were NOT in vehicle, yet I was charged.

Overall the process was very quick and easy co check in and out right from my phone. I ordered a dozen furniture pads but they were not in the truck and it was after hours so there were none available at the location.

Renting a moving vehicle should not feel sketchy, but it does at this location. My van was supposed to have 1/2 tank of gas, but when I left it only had about 3/8 a tank of gas. I only drove the van for 3 miles and when I called the manager to explain, he said not to worry and he would fill the tank. The next morning I was charged for gas. I called and was told I would be given a refund, but frankly, I should have believed other reviews and avoided this location. It's a shame that Uhaul doesn't seem to care about improving the locations and replacing the people that make the company look bad. If you need to rent a van or pickup, download the zipcar app instead.

Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. They charged me for two days instead of the one that I rented the truck for, then after confronting them about the mistake they charged me thfor corrected price IN ADDITION TO all the erroneous charges. These guys are completely inept. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

My experience was terrible. First, the employees failed to give me a copy of my contract. I told them I did not want to purchase insurance. Despite that, I learned the next day they charged me anyway (I could not confirm this charge at the time of rental because they did not give me a copy of my contract). You can confirm that I did not want insurance by looking to when I booked the truck. I declined insurance at that time. There was no computer or printer at the Western location -- they had to enter all of my information on a smart phone. I want a refund on the insurance charge that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE.

Took 30 mins to get the truck from them. It was reserved and booked on line with another location. There was no computer or paperwork, they were working off a cell phone and one man was in my face when I tried to mobile check out on my phone after 30mins or waiting. I took pictures of damaged truck, mileage out and in, purchased gas and dropped off the keys. I get a final receipt and was charged 10 extra miles and 1.5 gallons of gas! I will never rent from this location again, I could have booked a dolly with 2 men to move for me and would have saved money & headaches!!
