When I checked in the vehicle the guy working the receiving was new and didn't know what to do with my rental information. He sent me inside to complete the process where I was told I was good to go and they didn't know why he sent me inside. I was just glad to be done with this rental. The vehicle worked well and I was able to get the job done. Overall I was disappointed with this rental experience. It was not necessarily the pickup location nor the drop-off location's fault. I felt like the problem was UHAUL Corporate and the way that they handled the rental. I was not happy at all with being changed from location to location and the problem with the times of pickup and how it effected me and their lack of follow through.

First off, I've been renting here for the past 6 years for our furniture business. Roughly once a month. The employees here are always great. This last time was a real let down. There was NO PARKING for my truck like usual. I counted 6 parking spaces usually reserved for customers was being taken up by uhaul pickup trucks and vans. I asked if they could be moved. I was told the NEW MANAGER decided this was not an option. This is how they will continue to do business. Luckily I found a parking spot down the street. The last one in fact. This was not a fun start to a moving day. Do you really think someone wants to fight for street parking during a stressful moving day? Can you not find other places in your vast parking lot for your own vehicles? I'm a business owner myself. This is a terrible idea. You will lose customers. Guaranteed. I actually drive 15 min out of my way because I like this location and employees so much and yes, there is parking! So I can unload my moving equipment from my truck directly into the Uhaul. I can imagine there are many return customers like me that will not be returning if you continue to block all your customer parking. Back to the drawing board with this idea. It's a bad one. I will not be returning if this doesn't change. The convenience is gone. I hope this is reviewed and the proper changes are made. First rule of a successful business. 1. Take care of your existing customers.

I made a reservation online for the 24/7 on 3833 N Western it said Complete go ahead and pick up the truck. I went to the location only to wait for 30 min trying to retrieve the code to then find out after I called that they cancelled my reservation (without a courtesy call or email) because I didn’t look the same as my drivers License pic and the regular pic mind you I did everything online to speed up the process instead had to go to Kedzie where the guy then asked me when I was done if I would be bringing the truck back to the same location I said I’ll probably just take it closer to my house to then noticed he tried to charge me an additional $60 which I told him are you insane I’ll just bring it back here then but he tried to be slick and charge me without letting me know there would be a fee. Wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone.

I suggest you should delete all pick-up location at neighborhood dealer because It wasted my time when I woke up at the morning and saw nothing prepare at that location. I HAVE TO FIND A NEW LOCATION TO RENT A VAN. DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL.

It was total chaos at the location -- long lines, poor communication. The individual associates were doing their best under the circumstances, but the lack of a manager and adequate resources made the situation terrible. Would never rent from this location again, maybe never from Uhaul period. Moving is stressful enough. Picking up the truck shouldn't be the most stressful, time consuming step.

The check in time was so slow. The manager was wasting time counting Pennies (# 1 who pays for a rental truck in cash & # 2 why are you wasting times on counting change, it makes the operation just look cheap).

all great service except the van i was originally given had a problem with its tire; it wouldn't hold air pressure, and it took 30 minutes for a service person to try and inflate it before just giving me a different van. those maintenance checks should happen while the vans/trucks are not in service, not right before being given to a customer. there were 20 other vans just sitting there while they were trying to fix one tire.

Very easy process—especially with the app. My rental Was ready upon arrival and the staff was very friendly and clear with directions. I will definitely use them again!

Location was very understaffed. Had to wait 15-20 minutes just to talk to someone. That person told me the fuel tank was full so I initialed the contract stating that it would be returned full. However the tank was only 3/4 full. I was returning the truck after hours so I wasn't going to be able to dispute this in person. Basically I had to put an extra 1/4 tank of gas in (8.5gal @ $3.45/gal = $29.33).

Everything was great the service and equipment. The only thing difficult was the lock, it hard to open after i put in the given code. Even when I returned the truck and i was greeted with smiles and after their inspection I was told that everything was in order and that actually made me feel appreciated as a customer. Which is why I will recommend this location to all my family and friends . They even gave me the lock for a souvenir. It was a great experience all together. However I honestly feel/felt like I'm owed a total 26.86 because of allowed mileage of 126 and me using only 92 miles.

Customer Service hold time on 800 # is unacceptable. Called twice and both time over 15 mins which is out of touch with other businesses I deal with.
