No personnel present @ drop off. Poor rating because of cost. My experience with U-Haul's auto transport pricing has been extremely disappointing and has seriously affected my confidence in the U-Haul brand. Charging customers approximately 300% more for the identical service simply because they live in Quebec is unacceptable. The same U-Haul auto transport rental in New Brunswick costs roughly one-third of the price. A comparable U-Haul rental and transport arrangement in the United States would also come out to approximately one-third of the cost, even after accounting for currency exchange. This is not a comparison between different companies or different services. These comparisons are based on U-Haul's own pricing for the same equipment and the same service. The significant price difference cannot reasonably be explained by transportation costs, exchange rates, or normal operating expenses. This is excessive regional price discrimination. Customers in Quebec and Ontario are being charged dramatically more for the identical U-Haul service without any reasonable cost-based justification. Responsibility for these pricing practices lies with the Ontario and Quebec franchisee. By allowing these pricing practices to continue, the franchisee is damaging the U-Haul brand, burning customer trust, and driving away customer loyalty. A company's reputation is built over years but can be seriously damaged when customers feel they are being taken advantage of because they have limited alternatives. Your company benefits from what is effectively a monopoly in this market. Customers have no practical alternatives—none. If meaningful competition existed, I would have chosen another provider immediately and without hesitation. The only reason U-Haul receives my business is because customers in this region have no realistic choice. I have also seen similar situations where customers in Quebec face limited options due to regional market conditions, only to encounter significantly higher costs once those alternatives disappear. This creates the perception that customers are being penalized based on where they live rather than being offered fair and competitive pricing. The day a credible competitor enters this market, I will move my business without hesitation or regret. I will gladly leave U-Haul behind. I will also share my experience with friends, family, colleagues, and others considering U-Haul services so they can make an informed decision before renting. These pricing practices are disappointing and unacceptable. Customer loyalty is earned through fair pricing, transparency, and respect—not by charging significantly more in regions where customers have limited choices. I request that this feedback be reviewed beyond the local franchise level and brought to the attention of U-Haul corporate. This issue is bigger than one rental transaction; it is about how regional pricing decisions are affecting customer trust and the reputation of the U-Haul brand. I expect a clear explanation of how this pricing disparity is justified and what steps U-Haul is taking to ensure customers across Canada receive fair and consistent pricing for the same equipment and service.

Location for pick was change 4 times within the week of my actual moving date. The truck we pick up was located over an 1h away from my residence. It was also damaged and dirty (seems like a horse was put in the back or farming stuff) cabin was also dirty with some kind of sticky liquid.
Emilie SCould not seem to find my reservation. Asked me to go to a different location and acted irked when I refused. Did not asked if I had rented before or refer me to the standard video. They were not interested in how I hooked up the trailer until I asked them to look at it. Never checked my brake or signal lights, which I did later. Not the best service I ever had.
Michael CKeep up the good work.
Peter SWhen your customer is booking a rental it would be beneficial to have the proper and accurate information concerning rental availability and location prior to booking equipment that may or may not be actually be available at requested dates and times and locations.
