Truck was leaking oil real bad left a couples big spots In the driveway

I would give you a better rating, but with the run around I received due to a miscommunication, I cant do better. The folks at Clayton Tire were great and were finally able to get me what I needed.

Easy location to get in and out of. Nice people.

I can’t speak for their auto work, but I would suggest not renting a U-haul at this location. The pick-up was fine, and the employee was pleasant and helpful; however, the drop off was horrendous. I parked the trailer exactly where I picked it up from then some guy comes out yelling. “Just put it anywhere.” I can’t hear him, so I get out and walk towards him. He starts talking in an aggressive, threatening manner. I am confused, but then I realized he doesn’t want the trailer there because he thinks it’s blocking traffic. While fine, move it. Or, you could have told me ahead of time. That’s not the issue. (But there was plenty of room for a driver of average skill to pull through). This guy starts backing up towards me as I am trying to figure out for what I am being chastised. This guy nearly runs me over. Then I am at his window and he rolls over the tip of my foot with his tire. It was a graze and not painful, so not a giant deal, except that’s battery. By now I’m fully enraged, and go inside to complain, where yes, I was upset and raised my voice a bit to the woman inside who had nothing to do with the situation, and she says understandably, “don’t yell at me”. I said, “you are right, I’m not yelling at you I’m upset.” But, then she continues, because don’t you take a tone with me I’m not in the mood for it, my leg hurts! Wait what?!? Clearly, the customer service issues go all the way up. Customer service these days has just gone to the birds. Just take warning if you deal with the business. You may be assaulted and nearly run over.

Equipment was scheduled for pickup at 0800 on Friday, 23 March. I arrived at 0838 to pickup my equipment, which was a 10' truck and an autotransporter. The equipment was not readied for pickup upon arrival, nor was it operational. Upon hooking the first trailer up, it was discovered that not all lights were operational. The trailer then had to be moved to access the only other auto transport trailer they had available. This luckily was available. Is it not common for uHaul service providers to inspect equipment regularly and prior to being rented? If not I highly recommend this become a common practice as I ended up waiting over an hour for the personnel to first attempt to repair the lights after I requested they just check the second trailer and allow me to utilize this one. I hope this is taken into consideration.

Limited hours open on Saturday. No problems with drop off but no interaction w personnel.

Scheduling is critical and it is not acceptable to delay an entire group of movers for hours. Not the fault of Clayton Tire, as uhaul even called me to confirm all.

I had to sweep the truck out, looked clean but a good bit of dirt was sweated out. Inside the cab the floor was dirty with dried mud. Ashtray had cigarette butts in it. Guy at desk was knowledgeable and we had a fast checkout.

We were not given the dollie we rented. I assumed it was in the back of the truck but it was not. Otherwise our rental went very well.

A different location set it up for me to pick up the trailer at this location. I explained what I needed, gave them the exact width of the item I was needing to haul, and they said which one to get and where to go pick it up. Picked up the 6’ x 12’ trailer and drove 45 minutes to pick up a new lawn mower. When I got there, the 60” mower deck would not fit on a 6’ wide trailer. Because on the back of the trailer where the ramp is it has about an 8 “ piece of metal that goes in to the center to latch the tailgate. So a 6’ wide trailer will not allow to to load something that is 67” wide. Very misleading. So I am not happy that I rented a trailer that I couldn’t even use, because of its design flow. So I paid to pull it from one location to another, and back, just to go find another 6’ x 12’ trailer to use. A lot of unnecessary running around and wasted time and gas.

Open late hours.

Mr Terry is always friendly and helpful.

The van wasn't extremely dirty as others we have rented, but it would have been nice to be swept out and cab area wiped down. Particularity being such a new van. Rode very well. Will definitely rent from U Haul again

I was in and out very quickly, which is always helpful on moving day.

I recieved a email with a bill 4 months after rented a uhaul. Not the way you do buisness!
