It used to be pretty simple to rent a U-Haul, not anymore! That online process is brutal, especially for us older folks who aren't tech savvy. It took me over an hour to set up the mobile pick up and dropping off was unduly arduous also. Thankfully the gal at the location was able to help me get through the online process or I'm not sure if I would have ever gotten through it by myself. Not fond of all the tracking (cameras and gps) either, there is enough surveillance going on in our country already. I just want to rent a truck for a few hours!

STEPHEN EWhen we're returning the truck no one there to get the receipt. Now I don't know how much they're charging. We had truck for 2.5 hours and drive 13 miles put gas in $11.13 and 2.453 gallons gas. My credit card charge was $60. My calculation about $37.

Breana GI had a reservation for pickup at 2pm. When I arrived onsite the sign said the office was closed and would re open at 3pm. I tried the self service option but was having trouble with it so I decided to come back at 3pm. By this time, 2 other customers had arrived, everyone was confused and the office was still not open and it was around 3:15pm at this point. I called and left a voicemail to the number posted on the door and never received a call back. Finally after calling a separate customer service line, I was able to get my keys from the lockbox. I will be needing a truck rental again very soon and plan on going elsewhere after the difficulty of this experience.
