I opted out of towing insurance both online and in store. The rep told me the total and gave me something to sign. Trusting him I signed and went on my way. Later to find out I signed to a charge that was different from what he told me along and included charges I opted out both online and in person. Not coming back and upset with uhaul for not removing the charge.

I was charged for safe equipment which i didnt want i need refunded, the agent didnt seem to know why i was charged, the online reservation kicked me out several times and repeated to say i need to fill in dates which were already there. I changed the first reservation due to lack of equipment of choice at the timw i needed and the system reserved two different choices anyway its a little bit taugh to do on a mobile phone. An App or mobile phone friendly site might work better i dont know if its available

I picked up the truck got to my location and when the movers open the door to loan. the truck was dirty and full of cockroaches. I try to spray with raid but that did not work. The movers refused to loan the truck so I took it back. They gave me another truck promised to give me discounts when I returned it. However they didn't and I ended up pay 4 hours to the movers instead of three due to lost time. At this point I'm not sure I would even recommend U-Hall period.

My issues were with the reservation process. Was transferred to 3 different locations. Received phone call that said my initial location had no rental, but I could use the E. Main or McNaughton locations. Shortly after I received dual texts and dual emails simultaneously with both locations for the same confirmation number. Showed up at the first location to be told they had no rental and I had to go to the second location. Then when reviewing my e-bill after I left the drop off location, found that when my reservation was moved from location to location, safe move was added to my bill, where it was NOT selected in my initial reservation.

Horrible experience. Horrible service. Did not have the correct address on file. They did not give me the truck because the rental person wasnt there. Then I get a fraudulent charge for a rental plus miles! This is getting reported.

The truck did not run the best. Made some type of load noise in the engine. It also was not clean very well. When the sun went down you could barely see out the windshield from smoke damage. I am not a smoker.

This was the most unacceptable & unprofessional experience I have ever had with any U-Haul! This location was such a mistake from the start, and upon arrival I should have realized I chose the most inefficient place to pick up a Van. On appearance alone, I should have followed my instincts and turned around. This place is a complete disaster. The sole store manager, was late getting there, and once inside, he dealt with other customers who were buying sodas & lottery tickets first. He then informed me that he had a new system and needed help to figure out how to process my reservation for a 9' cargo van. He called someone, who apparently told him he would call him back. This took another 20 minutes, then he was instructed what to do. I gave him my Driver's License and Credit Card. He didn't ask for my Insurance card and never asked me to sign a contract. He handed me a printout that was totally illegible, and the key to the Van with all the paperwork attached to it, including carbons. He never took apart any of it or kept the parts he was supposed to keep. And I asked him if he wanted me to sign anything, to which he replied "No". Then led me to the store's back door and pointed to the Cargo van I should take (across the parking lot). He didn't walk me to it or around it to check for damages, or to make sure if I had any questions. Totally Unprofessional and Negligent! Then as I approached the van, I saw that it was completely dirty inside & out. At this point I was already on the phone to a U-Haul Customer Service rep, who advised me to go to another location at 3500 E. Main Street. It was about 4 miles away. She had said that I'd be able to swap the van for another one when I got there and she'd call ahead to secure one. When I arrived at the location, I saw that it was an actual U-Haul Store (not a "Smoke Shop" and I was met by the Store Manager, Rick Bateman, who was very nice. But he informed me that the Customer Service rep was wrong about getting to swap out another location's Van for one from his store. He helped to clean the van, and said that the condition of the van was completely unacceptable. He had one of his workers, Kym, help to clean it up. He blew out the back, cleaned up some of the grease spots on the outside and cleaned the windows. But I had to clean all the inside windows myself. All in all, this delayed my trip almost 3 hours before I could get on the road. I also had difficulty with the passenger side Mirror, which kept slipping throughout the trip, and caused me delays to adjust it several times (going and returning), and was dangerous as well. My destination was Charlotte, NC. And when I made this reservation, I chose the "Weekly Rental". When I returned the Van, my receipt added an additional day, even though I returned it on the 7th day. In what universe, is there a 6 day week? Also the same "Store Manager" was there to receive my key to the van, asked how many miles was on it, and when I asked if he wanted

The clerk over charged my debit card when he went to place a hold on it. He gave me the wrong keys to the van that we were renting. The mailage that he had written on the invoice was wrong from what was actually on the odometer. The customer service there is very poor! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, we will not ever use them again!

The last customer to use the van we rented used it for mulch. If it was cleaned I wouldn't know that. It was dirty with mulch everywhere in the cargo area. We had to sweep it out before using.

Very unprofessional and does not rent at the normal uhaul standard of 24hrs. I reserved my uhaul for 6:30pm, picked it up at 9:30 and got a call at 9am telling me to return the the uhaul by 10sm because someone else needed it. After arguing with him telling him that I haven't even had it for 24rs and even used it yet he allows me to keep it until 4:30 pm but charged me an extra $45 without me knowing until I checked my account. When confronted about it he denies it then says uhaul did it then says he did it because he "lost out on money" by allowing me to keep it until 4:30.

The operator asked me to arrive 2 hours earlier than my scheduled pick-up time for his convenience, which I did, then told me that I could return it in the morning, but with no return by time given. The trailer was full of trash when I picked it up, he did not look over the trailer with me for any indication of damage prior to removal from the property nor did he inspect it with me upon return, which was clean and swept out by me. I looked online for a website for the Outlet Tobacco shop for hours of operations and there was none, nor was there an answer or voicemail message when I call after hours last night with hours of operation. Then when I returned it this morning, 1 1/2 hours after he opened, he said that I was late and that it should have been returned last night, which I was shocked to hear and refused to pay for. He is seriously harming the reputation of U-Haul and is not caring for your equipment, so I seriously recommend discontinuing his operators licence.
