i online quick check in. it didnt work they couldnt tell me why. Attendant proceeded to charge me for things i had not asked for. The young lady who checked me in after use in was nice and professional.

Customer service 800-xxxxxxx on the phone is really terrible. The two agents I talked on the phone are not qualified for the position, especially the first person who gave me wrong information which made things much more complicated

I did the online check in, but still had to wait 30 minutes for keys. This means I only was able to use the truck for 3.5 hours and paid for 4. Other than that the truck was great and did the job. Thks

We were first directed to another facility that was closed on Monday, this was despite receiving a confirmation email that we could pick up the truck on a Monday. We wasted a whole morning chasing down a truck. I do not understand why we were not directed to the Coralville location in the first place. It is a dedicated U Haul facility. The other place was not. We did get a $50 reservation guarantee, but that paid for our fuel chasing down the truck. It did not compensate us for lost time. The U Haul customer service rep was very apologetic.

University of Iowa students are returning to school and overwhelming businesses. I can hardly understand, this has been happening for over 100 years. U-Hual was having computer problems, also had only 1 1/2 people at the counter. Poor planning for something that occurs almost 6 times a year, every year...duh!

We returned the truck after hours due to the uhaul sponsored movers showing up 2 hours late to unload. I did not have a smart phone with me so was unable to do the on-line checkin so I was charged for an extra day even though the truck was returned on the date due. The truck was clean when returned but I was also charged a cleaning fee. The online checkin process is difficult, if not impossible, for inexperienced users. I have filed a dispute of these charges but after 5 days have heard nothing and am unable to reach anyone by phone who can help me. I am told to leave a message and no one calls back.If there is any other choice then uhaul, I will use them for my next move. Customer service at uhaul is lacking.

Computer System is HORRIBLE. Please update! I prechecked and still 20 minutes to just get the privilege to hook up to a motorcycle trailer. You are working too hard for my $15. Employees are great!

My experience was affected by the unavailability of the truck that I had reserved online. This meant that we could not fit all of our belongings into the truck. Luckily, the customer service was good and they agreed to provide additional miles and an extra day so that we could load the truck again. However, it still cost us our time and effort to load and unload the truck twice, and make two trips from one state to another.

This was the worst experience of my life. Turning people away from checking equipment back in because it was nearing closing time (1 hour before closing) isn't acceptable. Under no circumstances will I ever recommend this awful excuse of a business to anyone I care about.

When a truck is being rented be sure to explain all the charges that will be added to the bill for final payment. I was surprised when my bill was $78.93 which was a lot higher than the advertised rental rate of $29.95.

UHaul Computer system is a failure! It had crashed while I was waiting to check out. Staff was rightfully frustrated, but handled it professionally. It should not take as long and generate as much paperwork to rent a motorcycle trailer for 3 hours as it takes to rent a multi-state over the road moving Van. Please put some resources into your IT and watch your customer experience ratings soar! People make the difference, but they need a solid foundation to stand on.

can't charge anything with the cigarette lighter, horn didn't work, radio cheap.
