I originally booked my reservation at a different location, and someone from U-Haul reached out to ask whether I’d be able to pick up at this one instead, referencing only address of the building, and I agreed because it seemed like a simple switch. It was actually extremely confusing because I wasn’t informed ahead of time that the U-Haul pickup was inside a different business, or which door to access, or who to speak to, by the U-Haul person on the phone. Once I found the right person to talk to, everything was great. I am also pretty confident that I left more gas in the tank than was on my receipt, so that’s unfortunate.

Great customer service
Sheri PAs there was no-one available to help with returning the truck, I had to use my phone. But this turned out to be very easy and well explained.
Gareth DI was on the phone with Uhaul customer service for over an hour at this location. I parked next to the truck but it wouldn't recognize me as physically at the rental location. So I had to drive to the front of the store to complete all the steps. The lock box is in the back by the truck, so that made no sense. The app was glitching so customer service had to help on every single step. Then she told me to just abandon the app and try on the website. Then, the lock was really difficult. The lever would not turn as it should have. I had to wedge my fingers into the shaft to pull the locking mechanism back instead. I told the lady on the phone it all felt like I was in an escape room trying to unlock all these hints and clues. I will never use mobile pickup again. Waste of an hour and I almost missed the movers I had hired due to the delay.
