This is the second time I've rented with U-Haul in 4 years and probably the last. The first time I used the app to pick up a truck. The truck was there. But the app required me to put in all the info I had already entered to make the rental. Since the office was closed I had to take pics of myself and my license, again, IN THE RAIN. When approved I was told the keys were inside the office. Which WAS CLOSED. I called U-Haul and was given replacement... 45 minutes away. This time? New outfit literally down the street from me. Thought U-Haul might have the issues worked out. Wrong again. On Arrival: - Asked to photo my license - which I had done 1 hour before on the reservation - Had to wait more than 5 minutes for app to approve me - Given the number for a truck which was not there - Inside, agent required my license - AGAIN - and a reference person to get a new truck. Even with the app & reservation showing on my phone - Gave me keys and vehicle# for another truck. - As I was leaving agent raced out to say I was taking the wrong truck. The same truck she gave me keys and a vehicle # for. - She told me to put the truck back and come inside. - Received another truck (SO MUCH FOR SELF CHECK IN) - Truck had a half a tank of gas when I got in. No big deal. I returned it with the same half tank of gas - WAS CHARGED ANOTHER $25.88 IN FUEL FEES BECAUSE THE HALF-EMPTY TRUCK I RENTED WAS NOT RETURNED FULL. The one thing I keep learning from UHaul's rental business is that you folks are truly lousy at renting things.

All went very well No issues and no complaints
Daniel RI made a reservation online, but they couldn't find the reservation. I waited for over 30 minutes while they worked out the issue, which was very frustrating because I had people waiting for me. The truck was clean, but the driver's side door did not close well, which caused a very noisy and drafty drive. It got the job done, but it could have been a better experience.
