The owner that took care of me could not have been more gracious at the Danville, CA location. She was kind, efficient, and very pleasant. I would recommend the Danville location at the Tassajara Crossing shopping center to all. Wonderful service!

Horrible service experience! Drove the truck total of 18 miles and filled it back up with gas to where it was on the gauge when i took it out. When i got my receipt back I had been charged $53 for gas! Then get yelled at by the lady at postal annex when I call to try to figure out what is going on. Now I get to work with customer service who will contact me "in 24-48 hrs" in hopes of maybe getting my money back. What a joke. If you must use this place take pictures of gas gauge and millage before you leave! or its by our word against theirs.. and even if the simple math of the number of miles you drove would lead any reasonable person to see there has been an error, they already got your money!!

It was very hard to locate the store because it's hidden in a shopping center. I found it by driving around the area for about 5 minutes when I spotted a few Uhall trucks in the back of the store. Then, the owner of the store was rude. She also mistakenly wrote into the contract my son's name, even though she took my driver's license to fill out the paperwork. When I asked her to fix the mistake, she was angry, told me it would take more time -- then she violently tore up the contract in an apparent attempt to show her displeasure and, finally, she re-wrote the contract correctly, after I explained to her why both of us would want the paperwork to be correct.

Was charged a $10 cleaning fee and all I did was move a sofa locally. Maybe a thread or two dropped? Unbelievable.

Clean the windshield. Ours was dirty and covered with smeared bugs. Air out the cab and spray with scented freshener. It smelled so bad like cigarettes.

Awful experience from beginning to end - showed up with a truck and VERY important accessories we had reserved to show up and find out they didnt have what we reserved. We then had to pay the movers to wait and go to home depot to purchase the dollys. Complete waste of time and money.

I used to be a regular customer at this location but will not rent a truck from here ever again. To find charges that were not deemed necessary on my bill after I return the vehicle, demonstrates that this location is clearly taking a vantage of its customers. I will never rent from this location again, nor will I tell anyone good things about it

The truck was 2 hours late to be ready for pick-up. This location tried to have me change the return to them and instructed me to do so. I then found out that it was not changed in the system which would have caused me an issue. The reason for them requesting the change is for them to get control of the 20ft truck.

The store opened 20 minutes late. On a moving day with schedules, this is too long. No arrangement to clamp dolly inside of van. It kept moving around when driving empty van to and fro.

Subject to availability means Uhaul should contact the customer to inform them that the truck they reserved is not availble! Not the customer calling and finding out himself the day of the rental! In addition when speaking with Oakland Traffic center and the reps attitude was unprofessional especially Belinda the Supervisor. She actually sighed multiple times when speaking with her this morning. I understand that situations occur beyond anyone's control. However, when the rep tells me that for the past 2 1/2 weeks she has been telling customers that a 26 ft truck are unavailable, why was I not informed? I could have made alternative arrangements vs making multiple trip which lasted all day and night and using others people trucks and gas. Being provided extra miles does not compensate me and my family for the HUGE Inconveince due to Uhaul's negligence. I'm would like to compensated other than a reservation guarantee. Based on my experience with to this point, I'm doubtful that anyone from your organization cares enought to speak with me. Please help reinstore my faith that companies still care about the customer.
