There was a lock on the back of the truck . The key to the truck was not told. The trucks are parked on the back of the shops, there is no way to go back to the shop . You will have to travel a long way to enter from the front. The staff was not helpful. Horrible experience. This same review is going to yelp.

The issue is NOT with the person working at this location. He was nice and friendly. The issue is with the location. The trailers are located behind the Safeway store in the loading area which is fine.The problem is there's no way to get inside the store. I drove around twice trying to figure this out. I had to park my truck in front of the trailer I'm renting then walk around from the loading area to the front where the entrance to other stores were. The U-Haul sign was not very visible. I found it because I knew it was next to Safeway. I usually go to the one in Dublin and Pleasanton. Both have big lots and easy to find. I requested one of these locations but the website changed it to Danville because the other two places did not have the trailer I wanted.

Is the boxes and Equipment being available in Dublin were confusing. I paid for them but they were not available at the site where I did my pickup which doesn't seem to be but sight manager's fault. I will investigate how to go to Dublin to pick up my boxes and tape.

I ordered furniture dollies but this location does not have furniture dollies. U-Haul customer support erroneously directed me back to the store when they should have known this location doesn’t have them. It should not have allowed me to complete this order online

I had a great experience with the Postal Annex Plus location in Danville. My complaint is for the San Ramon Valley Self Storage location. My reservation was for pickup at the self storage Reservation # 90358261. When I arrived around 1:30PM, there was no one in the office. The place appeared to be closed and I was unable to pick up my rental truck. I had to call customer service and drive over to the Postal Annex location (opposite direction) and was hugely in convened. I also had workers sitting on standby due to the inconvenience. I would appreciate a follow up phone call or email regarding this situation. Thank you.

My gripe is not with the location...it is with Uhaul. I reserved a van at DIABLO Road location..walking distance from my home....the DAY Before pickup got an overbooked email and was diverted 6 miles away on Camino Tassajara. Saw van at Diablo Location when i was drivinmg back from Tassajara Rd Location...inconvieneint for me and irritating

Overcharged for insurance: was told it would be $20 and instead was charged $30 Overcharged for number of days use: are you people dim or what? Dropped off on Sunday (4/14/2019) at 11:30am and receipt shows van checked back in on Monday (4/15/2019) for an extra $19.95. WTF? I will be calling my credit card company to reverse charges and deduct my time at $60/hr for correcting something that should be easy to calculate. What a bunch of dimwits.

The Postal Annex should not be a UHAUL dealership. The trailer was missing the wire harness they had me drive to the Dublin dealership with no trailer lights ( two towns over) They had no one onsite to hook me up I had to do it myself.

I reserved a truck on-line. The site said that, since my desired pick-up time (8:30 a.m.) was before the store opened, all I had to do was to log-in to my account and follow instructions on how to pick-up the truck. The night before, I received a message from the store manager saying they don't open until 9 a.m. so I would have to alter my plans. I arrived at 9 a.m., but the worker did not show up until 9:20, 20 minutes later than the published time the store opened. The worker offered no apology for being late. I had help lined up and was almost an hour late! Very poor service!

I filed a complaint which you should read. Simply, I will never use U-haul again and will strongly advise that anyone who needs a truck look to the competition like Penske.

The pick up location is inside a mailing center. The agent had to input our reservation, as it was somehow lost in the system.The van was behind a grocery store and was completely blocked by an 18-wheel truck. The agent said for me to wait for the driver of the truck to move before I could leave. The biggest problem is that the agent did not record the proper mileage in the van and we were charged an additional $45 for 150 miles that we did not drive. PLEASE remember to take a photo of the mileage of the van and the condition of it prior to departing. it is your word against theirs and you will always lose.
