Outstanding service. They go out of their way to help you. Should communicate the admin fee beforehand, but not a major deal.

Although this location was everything I hoped for, the entire situation with renting a trailer from U-Haul was horrendous. With the initial booking of the trailer, and loading all of my info including pictures of my license, the first call/email from U-Haul to change my reservation location was unnearving. Although I took it in stride, the next location tested my patience to just about its absolute limits. Double D Truck Specialties was unprofessional and unpleasant to say the least. The location was dirty, the single elderly attendant was rude, and the process was horrible. After going to this location to supposedly get the trailer I requested, I was told he doesn’t have my trailer.. although, there were clearly at least 5 trailers sitting idle. The attendant was in touch with U-Haul several times, all while I was stuck waiting outside because I couldn’t quite deal with the squaking and whining of the animals in the office. The smell, god awful. After just shy of 2 hours, I was told to back up to a trailer that we were actually sitting on, to “test our lights”... Needless to say, I was using a friends 13’ F250 so lighting wasn’t the issue. But, alas, unhook because I can’t use that trailer either. At this point the prevailing of cool heads started to corrode. Voices started raising and the elder attendant didn’t really know any to solve our issue or deal with us in general anymore. He contacted U-Haul again and found the trailer we “needed” at the Personal Mini Storage that is included in this email. That location asked for my ID, and told me to drive around and hook to any trailer along the fence. Easy Peasy. Back to the office, credit card info... after telling the young female attendant my plight, she gave me a $10 discount and sent me on my way. Fifteen minutes tops, in and out. On my recipt, she gave me the number to a “Dustin”who was supposed to be some sort of manager for U-Haul. I went about my business, moved my vehicle, dropped the trailer back off. No sweat. I believe Monday, my wife called me and informed me U-Haul decided to just dip right on back in my account for, assuming, the $10 discount I received. At which point I called personal mini storage, I was informed the woman who helped me was off that day. I spoke to another gentleman he said he would fix it, no issues. I then immediately called the “Dustin” manager person, left a message. No call back. Called again, message, no call back. One more time for SnGs, no call back. Then this wonderful servey, along with wonderful little space to explain why this whole situation turned a fun after noon to get my kids first truck into a monumental pile of horse shit. Thank you for the opportunity...

We spent twice as much as we budgeted for, because we went over mileage considerably. I don't understand why that doubled our bill. Unfortunately, we did not realize we needed a washer and dryer and had to drive further out of our was with the Uhaul to pick one up. I think it is atrocious that we were charged twice as much for maybe 40-50 extra miles. I won't be using Uhaul again.

CLEAN FLOORS IN CABS BETTER .I FOUND ALL KINDS OF TRASH AND INVOICES FROM PERSONS BEFORE ME.

He wanted me to unhook the trailer myself, when I was told at the pick up location not to. When he unhooked it, he let it roll into another trailer. He just seemed like a lazy guy and I was bothering him.

Upon arrival the uHaul website said to look for the truck behind the gate. I was shown a gate code. The gates were open due to being within operating hours. When returning uHaul I was not given a gate code, and the gates were locked even though it was during operating hours. I called uHaul customer service to try and get the code so I could recover my personal vehicle. After being placed on hold for a while I was told that they would not be able to get me the code. They did not know how the uHaul check in was able to provide a code for me, and were unable to relocate that same code.

We moved on a rainy day, and our truck leaked water above the cab and ruined one of our pieces of furniture

I was sent to a pickup station (Chevron) first where they did not accept the trailer and I was forced to leave and go elsewhere. Sending customers on a wild goose chase is not a good way to solicit positive feedback. Even though the final station was nice, customer service by UHaul sucked.

All we had to do was hand the key to the person in charge and she took care of everything. The office (and restroom) was spotless and the parking area was well organized and clean. The entire process took about 10 minutes!

I felt like they were only interested in moving the trucks and not the guest experience really. The woman behind the desk was helpful and more patient than the gentleman, that's for sure.

We chose this location, Personal Mini Storage based on outside appearance and reviews. W reserved and paid for a 4 x 8 cargo trailer over a week in advance of needing it. Before we left to pick the trailer up I called the location just to be sure the trailer was there and we could come on down. We arrived before they could check into it and return our call -- they were busy, we totally understood. When we walked in the door there was one other customer ahead of us so we just looked around, happy to patiently wait, when Cole, the "man" who worked behind the desk snapped "what are you guys looking for?" Dumbfounded I politely answered (everything in me wanted to snap back at his rudeness) "we are here to pick up the 4x8 cargo trailer we have reserved. He replied, in the most condescending, snide voice, "I'll get to it after I help with this storage unit. Storage units are our number one priority here, we take care of it before anything else." We felt like he had just smacked us in the face. We own a business and if we spoke to our clients, who chose to do business with us, in that fashion we would go out of business. We did not one thing to deserve his rudeness. He completely made us feel like we were lowlife scum and how dare we bother him with a lowly Uhaul trailer. It might have been one thing had we been smart alecks or acted like we were in a rush, but we were none of those things. We walked in with a smile on our face, treated him kindly and he slapped us in the face with his rudeness. He ruined the whole experience. We were helping a young girl who had no way to get her things back from Florida to Indiana. We left that location feeling like we had just been hit in the stomach. We needed packing supplies too but went elsewhere to get them. We would not and will not ever spend another penny at Personal Mini Storage.

First, I dropped it at 15022 SW 136 ST, Miami, Florida. There was no representative there. The workers that were present, who were working in that shop as mechanics told me to just leave the trailer there, and that an old guy would call me later in regards to the uhaul trailer. I did not receive a call from anyone from the drop off location.

Amazing manager, he could not have done more to help us. We highly recommend him.
