My experience with uhaul was absolutely terrible. I made my reservation a week in advance and arrived on the day to pick it up, only to be informed the location was never informed of my order. The operator was insensitive and basically told me there was nothing she could do and that if she could find a truck, I would have to go get it even if it was a great distance away from me. I informed them I had people waiting to pack the truck and family traveling 4 hours to assist and the response I got was “I'm sorry”. Their customer service is terrible and for being a multi million dollars company, you would have thought they would try to make it right and even offer to have the truck delivered for the inconvenience. Go with Penske or someone else. Uhaul sucks.

I had a terrible experience with this location picked up a 5 x 9 trailer and Jesus did not tell me that I had to bring it back the next day because he had a reservation for Saturday. I needed it until Saturday but I was forced to bring it back on Friday and go get another one from a different location. Like I called the 800 number customer service and the girl basically told me that the location can do and say and apply any late fee that they wanted which is totally unfair and unprofessional no help whatsoever. She said that his shoes from that location would call me because she sent an email I'm still waiting on his call never called text or email me.I am taking my business elsewhere you're not the only one who rent trailers

I don't think this has anything to do with the location, but the problem was the absolutely horrible service I had with u-haul. I scheduled a pick up for 8:00, had my confirmation email and checked in the day before. Even with all of that I couldn't get the key to the truck because u-haul did not approve my account (???) Until 8:45, which was 45 minutes after my scheduled pick up, causing me to be late to the job I had scheduled. I can't fathom how a company would let you schedule a pick up with automated lock boxes and leave you stranded in the parking lot for over forty minutes. This experience put a horrible taste in my mouth for u-haul and it's services. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time scheduling a pick up because they'll make you wait an extra 45 minutes anyway. If someone has a pick up time make sure they can pick up their vehicle at that time. I even called u-hauls number and had to wait on the phone with them for 30 minutes and not a single person knows how to help over the phone. I have zero faith in u-hauls customer service to do what they say or to fix a problem. Especially not if time is a concern.

On the specific 17ft box truck that I rented there is some type of piece hanging just above the brake pedal that caused me to miss applying the brakes a few times. One of the times I almost got into an accident. For the 4 hrs that I rented it for it felt extremely unsafe and I recommend it being repaired prior to another renter. I would imagine these vehicles go from center to center and they are not assigned full time to a specific location. One of the tail light assembly completely missing on the right hand side and a some night lights weren't working. I have no other issues with this trailer other than the lights for night useage. The brake and signal lights did work however, but again this trailer could use a better maintenance up keep.

The agreement on pick up of the equipment was that I could drop it off at the closest location when I determined my final location. I received two separate calls from this location with both staff members being pushy about returning the equipment early. When I called U-Haul national line they said that they could not change the drop off location due to the equipment already being "dispatched" to this location, which was 45 mins away from my original destination, which required me passing directly by at least one other U-Haul locations and half a dozen others that were closer to me. Upon drop off, again minimal assistance and was originally requested to drop trailer off in a tight location with no assistance. By the time I had offloaded by own vehicle a staff member did come out and pack up the trailer with my assistance. He did stay after close time to accept the vehicle. Staff member said everything was good, no additional charges, vehicle clean, fueled and under mileage. However I was initially charged for an additional day of use; after speaking with U-Haul national customer service they said that the equipment was actually being returned early and reversed the charges.

We rented a 26 foot truck and we were in Ocala, FL not even half way to our destination the A.C. went out and the check engine light came on. We tried calling but the system gave me a run around same thing with the website. This is completely unacceptable to me.

Vehicle was VERY old. Transmission didn't work properly, steering pulled dramatically to the left (it was a constant fight), and it has a horrid smell. The brakes and A/c worked fine

The uhaul.com website does not work very well for the mobile pick up feature. It should be more user friendly, as the internet did not let me on the system due to an "error on their part". I had to wait until the place opened to rent the truck, which caused a delay in my getting to my location.

1. That truck needs a maintenance. 2. That kind of vehicle need a camara or warnings driving back, it's so dangerous. 3. Why that Truck didn't have a hand truck? I had to rent one with other provider.

Online directions should included that the uhaul drop off and lock box is in around the back of the plaza. Or I would recommend placing a sign on the front door stating that the uhaul pick up /drop off is in the back of the building
