You guys are selling products which do not work Properly. The plug in for the Chevy truck DOES NOT ALLOW THE RUNNING LIGHT TO OPERATE. At night I was almost rear ended due to the vehicle not seeing me when I was on a dark portion of the highway. I’ve advised the person at the location where I rented and he seemed less than interested. May want to fix this as it will soon become an accident which you knew was coming. Besides this you guys are AOK! Thanks Mr Smallwood

We set up a rental over the phone with a Uhaul rep for this past Sat. (7/14) from 8am-6pm. Shortly after that call, we were contacted by a different pickup location stating that our pickup had been moved and provided us with the updated address. Upon arrival on Sat. the Uhaul app said that we were not in the correct location and would not let us check in. The facility did not open until 9:30am but we were provided with a cell number we could text if we needed anything but they did not respond. We then tried to call Uhal customer Service and were on hold for 20+ minutes with no answer. Finally we were able to get in contact with the facility we were at and were told that our pickup had been switched back to the original site but notification to us had failed. 1 1/2 hours after our scheduled pickup we finally had our rental. Then the app said that the truck was due back by 2pm instead of the contracted 6pm and we didn't want to be charged a 2nd day so we cut the move short and made sure it was back by 2pm. We also did not receive a copy of our contract in order to know how much gas we needed to put back in the truck so we just guessed and definitely put more than what we used back in. The truck itself had a hole covered by duct tape in the floor so we had to use a sheet of ply wood to cover it. Overall this was an extremely disappointing experience!

The overall service was the worst I have ever experienced. I spent 2 hours trying to pick up my vehicle because I kept getting hung up on by customer service because the 24/7 app wasn't working. I then had to come back when they opened because the code to open up the truck was not correct. They told me I was supposed to get a $50 credit, but when I spoke to Joe he said he couldn't do that. After I returned the truck after hours with the 24 hour app it said that I had driven 487 miles when I had only driven 52. I called customer service, and after holding for 45 minutes I was told by Anisha that there was nothing she could do to help and that I would have to go up on Monday to figure it out. I then spoke to Chris Gorman who was even less help. I wasted four hours total of my day dealing with these hassles, and still had to deal with it this morning. I talked to Joe at 0900, and was given attitude because he had a lot to do and couldn't deal with it at the moment. I finally got everything straightened out with Joe 2.5 hours later and he had the nerve to add on a mile because he moved the truck even though I sent him a picture with the mileage. I am so disgusted with this company and the way I have been treated. I am going to go out of my way to tell everyone I know and everyone I don't to never go with your company.

Personnel was pre-occupied and did not even step out from behind counter to visually confirm return or condition of equipment. There were no other customers present. He did not even inquire about our rental experience or any concerns about the equipment. Btw: the cab was unsatisfactory. The seats were not adjustable for height and it was impossible to reach anything that may have fallen behind them. The middle seat should have been able to be folded down for more storage or elbow room. Not having a CD player was surprising and disappointing.

We rented a bigger cargo trailer here. Everything went fine, they hitched it up for me, clean .. worked good .. billing was fine. The store had a good supply of moving equipment. Great service !

I was not only charged more than I was expecting when I first picked up the truck, but was then charged another $40 after dropping it off. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. $180 for a truck that we used for 8 hours?! We also spent another $15 in gas. Never again. Given that I work in Customer Care for a major credit card company and speak to a hundred people a day, I will definitely spread the word. I am beyond angry. To top it off, I have tried to call 3 times and waited on hold for more than 20 minutes each time trying to find out why I have been charged so much. Never got anyone to answer the phone.

That UHaul was a piece of garbage! 24 foot of scrap! The steering wheel was tilted horribly to the left due to it being out of alignment extremely bad. If you went above 60, it shook like it was falling apart. When the speed limit is 70, and I have semis blowing by me flipping me off, it’s a horrifying and scary feeling. Finally, it overheated. Had to pull off and have my aunt who drives buses come out. It was a gallon low on antifreeze! Had to spent money out of my pocket to fill it, called customer service at the store who said “ I’m not a mechanic. Call the hotline number on the dashboard. “ I call them and it sends me to customer service who was worthless. They transferred me and the line disconnected. Never again will I use Uhaul! Oh. To top it off, I’m trying to unload the vehicle and the lights inside the trailer refuse to work. Worst piece of junk I’ve ever driven.

I was supposed to pick the truck up at the Ace Hardware in Delaware Ohio and when I got to the location I found that they did not have my reservation and that it had been transfered to Stop N Go Storage. I would have liked to have know this but was not notified by U-Haul that I had been bumped to a different location. This caused a delay in my moving process and irritated me greatly.

I showed up 5 min before the william st location in delaware, oh closed. I had done all the precheck stuff I could but after receiving the confirmation i receiv d a call telling me i had to go to another location. This was farther and cost me over a half hour one way in rush hour traffic. The attendant was very, very angry with me. He said he had to leave right at 5:30 bche had an appt half hour away at 6:00. I did everything i could to speed it up but he called and canceled his appt. right in front of me. He held his temper well for how outraged he was so i have to give him credit, but im not sure i will use uhaul again.
