Location was chosen because the truck I needed were no longer available at closer locations. It was not the most convenient, but I was happy I was able to get the truck. Once we arrived at the pick up location I had to wade through all of the details on the app. The issue with this is that 50% of the information was given online when I initiated the reservation. The other information that was asked for should have been part of the process when I reserved the truck. It was very time consuming and we were on a schedule. I really prefer to deal with a live person, not an app.

Making sure that there are the actual materials needed. We needed a utility dolly and got an appliance dolly which was heavier for us to haul around. U-Haul rental did not have working A/C. Receiving a call the day before our rental, we were told we’d have a confirmation for pickup process before the day we picked up, nobody ever called.

Brisalva MThis place did it again, I had a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a none local move of a 3 bedroom 2 bath home, was running a very tight schedule & they did not have my 20 foot truck ready upon arrival. I felt one of the lady’s at the counter was very unprofessional, & every question I had during my frustrating visit was “ I don’t know, I’m new here” Followed by lagging. They even went as far as suggesting a 15 foot truck when I had reservations for a 20 foot. Once I became aggravated, & stated I needed what I originally ordered, they then suggested a 26 footer, however that was still not what I ordered, or needed. The manager I believe his name was Phillip did try towards the end to help, but once I had to waste more time & gas to get to the 20 foot truck he found. I asked if it was ready & if they had done all the proper maintenance on it he assured me it was ready, however once we hit the road & 2 & a half hours behind schedule we realized the truck needed an alignment. It was so bad & dangerous specially when we got to Kaufman & it was raining super hard. This should had been handled differently, I reserved this truck weeks in advance, I was behind schedule, stressed, & very highly disappointed & dissatisfied since this was my 2nd attempt with U Haul since my other bad experience! I would like to spark to corporate about this issue, if anyone can contact me with the proper information to reach corporate I would appreciate it.
