The inaccuracy of your fuel gauge is very bad for my uhaul experience, especially when I had to keep going to the gas station to fill it up after trying to turn it in 3 times and it costing almost as much as if I had let uhaul handle the gas filling.

Customer service was horrible we reserved the cargo van via phone they took the card number and everything. Get there and waited 30 min just for them to tell us we can't use our debit card. The staff didn't speak it was horrible. I will never use this location again

On my contract I had requested to return my rental to a different (closer) location. When I arrived, I was told that this location could not take my rental return even though it was on my contract. I had to take to a different location. The location on Telegraph was terrific! Helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

The right side view mirror had to be set so my husband could use it before driving off......one of the UHaul employees had to get HIS OWN tools out of his own car, so he could set the side view mirror at the proper angle for my husband. Also, that same mirror DROPPED out of position during his drive of 150 miles, which meant he had no right side view during his trip. He was very upset.

When I called the 800 to Rsvp, the lady said I could use my debit card. However, when I went to pick up the truck the manager who said she was the directors daughter refused to take my debit card. In fact, she insisted on my credit card. And, they wouldnt let me sign up for the Uhaul insurance without giving them an extra $250 deposit , even when the lady on 800 line said pay $13 only and no deposit for anything.

The customer service reps seemed uninterested in actually doing business and more interested in finding ways to frustrate and annoy customers. They seemed almost gleeful that they were able to reject some customers.

I had to stop twice at U-haul sites through out my rental. The first was because the Furniture pads I had rented were not in the trailer when I got home so I drove to a MUCH closer u-haul which helped me out and gave me the pads (11 mile Madison Heights). the second time the Right turn signal was not working I stopped at the Farmington Hills Location on Grand River and the found the trailer light wire jumper was damaged due to poor installation at original pickup location. ALSO, the trailer had about 50% of the trailer running lights not working. It would have been better if I did not have to drive past Numerous U-haul locations to pick-up the trailer because all closer locations did not have the equipment I needed.

Everything was fine until later that night I got a call from another customer, and they had my receipt and my personal address along with my wife's name. She said that she would mail it to me, however, it hasn't arrived to me yet. That just seems like my personal info has been exposed, and I don't know to what extent.
