Horrible Experience!! I had to drive 2 hours to pick up my truck and auto transport! Uhaul systems down, waited another hour and a half to finalize and be able to leave. An entire day waisted!!! Had to rent a trailer to finalize my move!!!! Had to pick that up in a Delores CO and was told I had an extra day because of shortages, I was charged an additional $32.40. First contract was for wrong truck. Agent was rude. Redid contract and added extra insurance to it. Found out thru â€œRavenâ€ ( customer service agent for Colorado ) who was also very rude that this was non refundable and no exceptions. I told her why should I pay for the agent not doing his job right. Had to return the truck 9 days early and get a refund to avoid overcharge on total rental. The found hand charged me for one day insurance and then cancelled the rest of the charge. But â€œNo â€œ was Raven's solution. So needless to say it's cost me money and time and now I have to still rent a truck. With non other option available I am stuck renting from UhaulMICHAEL T.
Truck had bald rear tires. This vehicle was not suited for renting out in Colorado during the winter and the trailer (auto transport) had a flat tire. We only moved the trailer two blocks from the rental pick up location to load the car and saw the flat tire. When we returned to the rental location, the business owner would do nothing about the tire and told us to call roadside assistance. He was extremely rude, would not help at all, not even to notify Uhaul. That business owner also took our full $700 payment in cash, he charged our debit card the same amount, overdrawing our account. He refused to return either payment and just laughed at us. My wife finally convinced Uhaul to contact this horrible person and they told him to return our cash. We will never consider using Uhaul for any service, ever again!Dan B.

Our rental was not clean, and needed a oil change, they said the next guy would do it. I lost at least 150.00 dollars in gas from the vehicle working extra hard with bad oil. I only got 8.7 miles to the gallon and the computer in the truck was glicthing, also the truck had no power and struggled the entire drive just to maintain minimum speed. This is the worst u-haul truck I have ever drove as I usually rent from uhaul.MARLO S.
Please don't auto-resolve the pickup city location based on the truck requested. For instance, I requested a reservation from Phoenix on June 3 for a pickup truck in Cortez. The uHaul website discretely moved my reservation request to Farmington to provide the truck I requested. There was no alert that my requested truck was not in Cortez so I booked the reservation. Obviously there was an oversight on my part that I did not notice the pickup location was changed by the website. Long story short is I fly to Cortez on 6/5 and did not realize my reservation was 75 miles away. Fortunately the Dolores location had a 10' van that we picked up on 6/6 and we continued our journey. The van worked almost as well as the truck. It was new and only 7500 miles on the odometer. Overall uHaul saved our trip as the Hertz location at the Cortez airport was closed due to the virus.Jeff K.

You could have made sure that I got the right truck or when customer service was notified that I wasn't given the right truck something could have been done to correct the mistake. The way I was treated was disgusting. I reserved a 15' box truck and the guy gave me the keys for a 10 footer. I had employees from all over the country fly to Cortez CO to do work for the water company that needed to be done starting on Sunday, September 15th and UHaul didn't give a damn about what they did wrong. There was a whole week that's gone by and I still have not even been given a phone call or an emailDean B.
