It was a horrible experience. First, the uhaul was in a location I did not order it to. And I got a text about where it was for pickup, but it was 20 min away from the original location and the text said nothing about it being changed. Then, I tried to return it to where I book my original return for, and they told me it would charge me $1000. We were never told to return it to the location it got moved to. Then, we got charged double because we returned it after when I put. But, all in all, we only had it for about 8 hours which is not double time. I was extremely frustrated with this experience because in the past, it's been smooth. I'm not sure if I could bring myself to use Uhaul ever again after this. It was at least 2 hours added to my day and $60 more expensive and I can't afford much right now. I really would appreciate some compensation for this issue.

When I got there to pick up my vehicle and we were about to check out, we learned that none of the locks would open on the first vehicle so I had to go back in and redo the application again for a second vehicle, which was fine. The only issue I had with that vehicle is it smelled heavily of marijuana which made me uncomfortable since I was the one that was gonna be driving the vehicle, but I did inform the clerk about the situation . Other than that, I had no issues. The pick up location was easy and convenient.
Bridget BWe reserved our truck at another location that had stellar reviews, but they moved us to this other one without our ability to choose which location we preferred because somehow the location we reserved at did not have our reserved truck available (how if we reserved a specific truck at a specific location, I have no idea). Our rental truck smelled STRONGLY of marijuana and had ashes all over the cab when we received it. The interior of the truck was FILTHY and absolutely loaded with pollen too. We also ended up having to cancel our auto trailer reservation and temporarily leave my car in GA while moving to FL because the trailer was not at all sturdy and the brake light kept going out. Renting a U-Haul here was a MAJOR inconvenience, frustrating, and very unprofessional experience. We will not be using this location again or recommending it to anyone else.
LAWRENCE HTher experience returning the truck is a nightmare. One has to take multiple photos of the truck interior and exterior and in the process locking the U-Haul keys inside the truck. This place doesn’t have a spare key and you’re at the Metcy of locksmith charging you an arm and a leg to unlock the vehicle. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
