How U-Haul Reviews WorkRan out of dolly’s….make sure they have all the equipment
Matt BI reserved a 15’ truck for moving over the weekend. Zero stars because I showed up Sunday to get my reserved truck and there were no keys in the lock boxes. How unfortunate and unprofessional. I had to drive 50 miles round trip out of my way to get another truck.
Melanie HI originally booked the truck to be picked up at the Bayfield location but when the confirmation came through, they sent me all the way to Durango which added on an extra 50+ miles to my trip cost and more time. I did appreciate the customer service person, Mary I think, allowing me to return the truck the next morning as opposed to the same day. The biggest hurdle however was I booked a 10’ truck thinking it would have a loading ramp like all U-hauls I’ve ever rented. But this one did not and I found out only when I got it home. So I was unable to move my piano — a main reason I needed a U-Haul to begin with — and had to hire a company to do it which cost $450. So check to make sure the truck is the correct size and has a loading ramp.
