I was charged a Fuel Surcharge of $21 for a full tank of gas although I noted on the check out app process that the pickup only was at 3/4 of a tank. I returned it at 3/4 of a tank!!! Associate that checked me in told me that I needed to come in and let someone at the desk know that the information was incorrectly reported in the app?????????? Why use an app then if we have to come in and tell someone anyway??? Secondly, there was no one at the desk. There was another customer waiting as well. Strike 2. I have used Uhaul's app at other locations and have never had this issue using the check out check in app. This was a blatant rip off of $21 and I won't be visiting your location again.

Overall experience was good. Truck needed some work and I would not feel confident driving this truck across state lines or outside of city limits. The front suspension needed chassis/steering work and an alignment. The oil pressure light would randomly come on and the truck had an indication light of needing an oil change.

I would have appreciated a notification that my reservation location had changed from Uhaul instead of having to figure it out myself, which caused me to pick up my rental 30 minutes late, while still paying for that time.

Customer service rep was in a rush, not friendly at all. If you're a veteran or senior citizen, I'd recommend budgettruck.com, for veterans, pensketruckrentals.com. They offer discounts. When I was checking out, customer svc rep answered questions, however, did not looked up to see who she was talking to. U-Haul is all about U-Haul, not its customers.

And because I asked her why she is so angry at 8am she became very rude I think she gave me the worst uhaul on the lot the driver seat was broken it would not adjust to o my height the windows were roll up and down with your hand this truck reaped on cigarette smoke and a fowl odor

Excruciating process picking up inside the location, but very fast and helpful doing hookup and fast delivery. Extremely long wait inside despite pre-checkin and being only the 2nd person in line. At least 45 minutes waiting to get to counter. One agent helping line on a weekend is not sufficient. The only customer ahead of me did not have all of the information needed to pickup their rental, and they were extremely rude to the agent. Agent allowed them to hold up the entire line calling and texting everyone they know to figure out what their destination address was, instead of having them step aside and sort it out so others could be helped who had all their information. I was blown away by the calls they were allowed to make at the counter...while...we...waited...including them waiting on hold with a phone company installing service at their destination to figure out their address...after a long hold wait hold on a Sunday! While on hold they proceeded to walk around and shop for more boxes. This rude, unprepared customer was not the agent's fault, and took a barrage of rudeness from the customer in the process so I felt bad, but the agent needed to demonstrate decision making capability and manage this ridiculous, clueless customer and awareness of the impact on all the other customers. It made the experience horrendous for me and everyone else.

I picked up the truck and trailer the day before when I came out to leave the next morning to travel to Florida the trailer had a flat tire. the Uhaul facility is only a few minutes from where I live. I took it back to see if maybe they could swap out for a new one. The manager was not helpful at all. She had no compassion or empathy. There is no seating in the inside so we had had to wait in the car and run the truck to keep the AC on for almost 90 minutes. Not a great experience. Delay in time and waste of gas.

When you tell a customer who is already stressed and struggling don't worry about paying any extra money for the uhaul. Don't turn around and charge her more money

First off, when I pulled into the parking lot, I approached the UHaul staff (female employee) in one of the trucks under the canopy. I said to her “I have completed the express online check in last night. I don't know the process as to which truck I am supposed to pick up.” I have barely finished what I was saying, she rudely replied to me in a screaming voice “then why are you coming to me? You did not complete the online check in completely”!! - while pointing to the door to the building. Well, that was precisely why I asked her what the process is coz the check in final step I got was a page that says “check in online complete”(which I took a screen shot to show to the lady but needless to say, with that kind of attitude and tone of voice, I did nit want to waste my time. Hence, completing an online express check in was useless and it defeats the meaning of express. I waited for 15 minutes inside when I arrived at the pick up location. In order for it to be true express and indeed saves time for the customer during pick up, there should be a separate line for all those who are “express check in” only! Secondly, when I hop in the truck, it was filthy! The steering wheel was sticky, the front section as well as the area where you place cups or drinks were the filthiest! Considering that we are under this pandemic, there were no signs that the truck was even disinfected in between usage. When I cleaned it, it was SO gross and sickening! Totally disgusting! I rented a bigger truck the previous month but it wasn't this filthy, so I rented another one for this final move this month. I can tell you this is the LAST time I am renting from UHaul. You are not looking out for your customers' safety and best interest. And I will let my friends know who may need rental trucks to go to other competitors and share my experience. It was totally unacceptable and UHaul has no interest in getting repeat customers (and most likely, first customers after I share my unpleasant experience!) My niece's fiance who recently moved to NC just shared with me his similar experience when I was sharing my recent experience on the same pick up location.

I've rented from here before, and my prior experience was good. The vehicle I got this time didn't seem to be in great repair, but it did run. My one complaint is that I moved two cities away, but was forced to return the U-haul to this location, which was an inconvenience.

Hi, the truck that zi had seems as though it needs s transmission. It was acting as though it had a time switching gears. When I pressed the gas peda all the way down it would take off. I know its old. Maybe I'm expecting too much.
