We were glad for mobile check in due to lack of customer service when we had to speak to the front desk. Dolly’s were not in the truck and when we asked for them, it was like it was a bother.

Well I was given a higher quote then was given to me early when making my reservations.. I also feel there should be a standard rate for in surrounding areas especially if you only have the truck for less then 5hr.

Uhaul letter We were sent to the wrong location. Then called and was sent to another. Didnt have equipment needed, nor was everything ready to go. Spent abt an hour waiting once i got there. By the time we got to “final” location (storage) they had closed and we were forced to find another place on the fly. Plus, didnt have the correct gas in tank, and mileage was off. The mileage allowance was way less than what was needed just to drive to second location. When returning vehicle, dropped off the night before due and met at drop off location at opening. Was charged for gas and mileage that wasnt correct to begin with. Took a photo upon entering vehicle, date time and location listed. Spent additional two hours on the phone and at drop off location trying to fix but no resolution was found before we finally had to go. Waiting for store manager to contact me and have an action response open. Everyone was nice but experience was less than ideal.

This location did a great job. My rental was scheduled at location at 5831 Triangle Dr in Raleigh. The check out took 30 minutes due to slow and bad terminal. Once we get out to look over trailer, the lights didn't work. Check connections at truck and still did not work. After trying to change bulbs, still not working, called to get reservation moved. was told they would call me, they never did. I got email saying new reservation made, but no call. Gentleman there was very apologetic. Now 2 hours later and 10 miles out to he way, i finally have the trailer that should have taken 15 minutes max to get. Overall poor on the brand that i was never called for apology or offered any kind of incentive. The only one who was inconvenienced was the customer in this process.

I dropped trailer off at 3:00 one day, it took me 3 calls the next day to get it checked in and get a e-mail confirmation, I’ve used u-haul for a lot of years, all were excellent except this last time.

Trailer had one inch hole in roof



The only issue that I experienced is in regards to being able to pick-up my van prior to the store being open. I did not recieve any information telling me use a lock box and so I had to wait at the store till they opened. It would have been nice to have that information so the store doesnt have to do double work. The store team was amazing and explained the process to me.

The manager was very helpful and I hope this low star doesn’t affect her. I’m upset with U-Haul and the experiences I’ve had the past week. My first reservation on 9/23 was hell but I’ve left a review for that already. This reservation was cancelled at my first location. Upon arrival. Therefore, I had to go to another location (this one on New Raleigh’s hWy) when I get to this location, I was already an hour behind schedule due to the last location not having my truck, and now this location didn’t have the key. I waited just under an hour for the manager to come and give me the key. She was nice and helpful but the process was terrible and my truck wasn’t guaranteed. I didn’t get my $50 as promised but was offered 20 percent off. I should be reimbursed for the inconvenience and my promise of having my truck!!!

The lady that was there yesterday when I returned the trailer was kind of rude. She told me that I was not the greatest helper in the world. Then I asked her if she needs any help but she told me: "just get out of here." then I said; ok, thank you. she replied with: "whatever". I plan to rent another trailer this weekend to take supplies to the hurricanes victims in the coast. But now I'm not so sure if I want to rent from that location.

The loading ramp in the 26 foot truck is the same length as in the 20 foot truck, this makes going up the ramp way too steep for safety. It needs ro be at least three feet longer to make a safe ascent. Ohter than that,everything was super. EJS
