Do not use Moving help from the website. The unloaders never showed up leaving us with no help to unload two 26 foot trucks. When I called they blamed U-haul and would not take any responsibility. As a result I had to spend $500 more to hire some local help in and emergency.

We barely made it to our destination which was 200 miles away. We should have never been given this vehicle. We had to stop several times do to the heat the vehicle was given off. No a/c, needs wheel alignment, no outlets worked to charge my phone. It was Terrible experience! Never ever had an experience like this before. The lady at the East Moline location kept saying how sad this vehicle is....she should have given us another truck knowing the distance we had ahead of us. The appearance of the vehicle was Terrible. I video recorded the truck...there weren't enough X's for the damages. The weird thing was which makes sense now was that, we rented a 10 footer from a different location but received a call the day before stating that we were upgraded to a 15 footer at no charge and we had to pick up from a different location. The price quoted was $171...when we picked up the lady at the East Moline location stated $216 and she gave us 2 days. They wanted to get rid of that vehicle...Im just thankful we made it safely.

was suppose to pick-up five blocks from my house but, had to drive over to east moline to get trailer then back to iowa to load totally backward from how I had things planned. Did no good to plan ahead for trip.

I was totally inconvenience I'm not happy with the service overall with U Haul this is the first time I've ever had a bad experience with U-Haul I've used them years ago we've been a military family so we've been used to being moved but now that we are retired we're doing things on our own. I thought it would be a great experience but it was NOT!.....was quoted one price online but charged another once I got to the location when I did get to the location that was completely out of my way and into another state to pick up the U-Haul it was not ready it was not cleaned and it was almost on E for gas I did a walk-through of an inspection of the vehicle with the owner on site she seemed a little bit unhappy that I was making note of all of the marks on the vehicle and the fact that it wasn't clean there were crumbs in the seat of the passenger seat and the driver the inside had not been cleaned out and the vehicle had been returned the day before and she had never checked it in and cleaned it out so I had to be inconvenienced and wait for her to do all these things I was at that location for an hour unacceptable customer service unacceptable I work in customer service and I would expect a customer to make a complaint as I am to you I hope that something is done in reference to this I paid a lot of money for a bad experience. . I had to transport that vehicle to the other U-Haul station that was around the corner from my home in another state I had to ask them where I could gas up because the vehicle was so large and I also needed them to hook on a piece so that I could transport my vehicle I was charged for this for 2 days I'm sorry for 3 days my reservation times were changed several times I called I text responded to the text messages that were sent to me I just was totally inconvenience this was supposed to be a smooth transaction with myself and U-Haul and it was not I certainly hope that folks look at these complaints and actually do something about them so that other individuals do not have the same experiences I will not use U-Haul again I will use the contracted individuals that we used in the past through the military.

Called to get quote and then hung up to talk to husband. Called right back to reserve truck and price was different. Had to complain and fight for the quote that was started 5 mind before. You guys did make it right but. Didn’t like fight for it. Over all I will be back if I need a moving truck again. Ty.

I requested, during my online registration, a drop off location different than the pickup location and a 4 PM drop off time. Instead i had to drop off at the pickup location and at 12 PM. The truck was not swept out, the moving blanket bag was not tagged and there were two 2-wheel carts in the back. Thankfully, I was not charged for the blankets I did not use, nor intended to use, and they removed the carts prior to my departure. The truck was filthy, with bugs and a film on the windshield. For a place that calls themselves QC cleanup, they don't clean very well. I'll pay extra for a Penske or Budget truck next time.

The lady working the desk was very nice, but was by herself and didn't help at all other than taking payment. She filled out the contract with the wrong customer address even though I had the right one on the order online. Her printer wasn't working, she tried to email the contract, it gave her an error. She said don't worry, she promises I'll get the email. I never did. I hooked up the trailer all on my own, she didn't help. That was fine because I knew how, but if was someone who didn't it could have potentially been dangerous. Small parking lot with all of the equipment and she didn't help guide me out or anything. She basically took payment and that was it.

The manager was driving the truck before we got it. It was on a half tank and had pop bottles thrown behind the seats. I was told the truck would come with a ball hitch, it didn't. They also have a sick cat that lives in the store rubbing up on customers.

This location was not where I was promised. It was a 45 minute drive further west from what was promised!! This added even more stress to an already stressful situation. The people at this location were very apologetic and helpful, but the person at the 800 number who made the promises of the original location was far from truthful!!!

In a different transaction, I was in a another state and attempting to determine the uhaul location for the vehicle return which was near my home and which I had used once before (I also drive by it every day). It did not appear of the list of U-haul vendors or the map when the representative was searching on the Uhaul software or website, so I was forced to return the vehicle to a different location.
