The one-way rental quote I initially received online-which included damage coverage and a Safe Trip option-totaled $305.25 however, the actual final cost ultimately exceeded $400.95. Although the final bill ran about $100 higher than the original estimate. I had already competed all the necessary preparations for my move, making it virtually impossible to change the dates at that stage. I was left with the strong impression that the company deliberately exploited this situation luring customers in with the promise of low online rates, only to charge them significantly more once they arrived to pick up the vehicle.

The most efficient location I’ve ever used I’ve used this location about 6 times and everything went like clockwork every time. A few months ago I rented one in west va. Had to pay $100 cash deposit I asked if my cash would be returned upon destination and was told yes “issue one” upon drop off I was told no I would receive a check within a week “issue two” upon contacting Uhaul customer service I was told yes that’s how it works well two weeks later when I called back because I didn’t receive the check I was then told I never dropped the truck off when it had been and on time at Hanson rd Edgewood md 21040 upon returning to the station it was dropped at the cashier said of course they have the truck I would have to call regional manager for me to get my money “issue three” well it’s been 4-5 months now and no return of my money “issue four” I finally gave up but be warned get everything in writing anytime you rent from Uhaul so you can sue when you are lied to and they keep your cash. I finally let it go as it was only $100 and if Uhaul needed it more than me , have at it so be warned while this location is great CYA when it comes to new locations and or dealing with corporate
JOHN CThe truck smelled HORRIBLE!!! The representative was VERY impersonal!!! While renting the vehicle I was pulled over for the headlight being out. I attempted to reach the agent I didn’t get an answer. I attempted to explain the situation when I returned the vehicle I eas again disregarded and just told to contact customer service!!! I will NEVER use their services AGAIN!!!
