I reserved my truck two weeks in advance. Trying to be thorough I asked the customer service if there was any thing that I needed to do or have to make sure that there would be no problems. I was told no and that all essential information was able to be checked online. Then on the day of my rental I called again and asked the same question. I was told the same thing. I then asked what time my local office, that had my truck would be closing. The agent checked online and told me they would close at 7:30 pm. When I went to the office I went early at 4:30 even though my rental was at 5:00 pm. I was immediately told that I was "lucky" because they were about to close. Irritated by that response I mentioned that I had spoken just that day with customer service to confirm when this particular office closes. Your employee said and I quote. "oh head office has no idea whats going on." I told him but they said you close at 7:30 pm. He told me and again I quote "we make our own hours here, its a holiday! We have places to be too." If your offices are allowed to close anytime they want then there's no point in displaying hours on your website. If I had shown up for when my rental was booked, I would not have been able to pick up my rental. Every part of my move would have been screwed up. My suggestion is that you create a piece of software that allows for real time information about each locations hours. And that it be updated daily so that your customer service center is relaying accurate information. Secondly I was not told by anyone that I would need data on my phone to even pick up the truck. Due to the fact that they now ask you to follow a link they send you, (while physically in the office), to photograph your identification. I mentioned I didn't have data, and was the told "while I wont be able to give you the truck then." Customer service needs to relay that information to the customer. Or each office needs to have a customer Wifi signal available in the event the customer does not have data. It does not make sense that I can physically be in the office with a valid credit card, licence and reservation. But I can't pick up my rental because I didn't have data on my phone. Luckily my brother had data so I was able to proceed. I was extremely irritated with the customer service I received. I have used your service many times in the past, but I will not be doing so again. I will also recommend to others to try a different service as well. I hope you take these suggestions into account when improving your service. Good day.

I'm a pretty laid back guy and when it comes to repulsive customer service, I just to try to get through it. What's the point of feeding into the immaturity? You most likely will never see them again, so a response to their disgusting behavior is never warranted, let alone an online review. Get in, get out, right? I've moved a lot in the last few years and I've used U-haul every time. Usually it's pretty painless, sometimes it takes longer than expected, but overall, you can't go wrong for the price. But man, this U-haul dealer is hands down the worst U-haul dealer in all of North America. If you don't like to be ridiculed or belittled (who does?) do not rent from here, trust me. The entire process I was treated like a child. At first I was confused, I didn't understand why he was being condescending, I gave him no reason, but after a few minutes I realized that's just who he is. I'll deal with it. Get in, get out, right? After 5 minutes of going through the process, we reached a section of the paperwork I didn't quite understand. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep from packing, but for some reason, for a split second, I was confused. I needed a simple clarification. A simple clarification for my tired brain to help make it to the next step. That's all. So I mentioned I was confused. His response, 'Did you read?' I nodded and said yes. 'Just read it,' he says while laying back in his chair, arms crossed behind his head. The paperwork had me stumped, now I'm even more confused. I let him know for the third time that I had read it. He decides to double down on his behavior, laughs and sings, 'If you reeeead, you will succeeeeeed!' NOW I'm seriously confused. I stood there dumbfounded as I watched him swivel back and forth in his chair. All I wanted was the smallest of clarification. If I would have known he was so smug, I wouldn't have bothered asking. Like every U-haul customer, you just want to get the formalities out of the way so you can start what you already know is going to be a long day. Get in, get out, right? The story above is just one of many examples this U-haul authorized employee helped make my 'moving day' a little less stressful. There were other moments, but the singing one takes the cake. In the end, I made it through his unpleasant conduct without acknowledging his professionalism and got the truck out of there!

There was nobody to receive us when we returned the vehicle half an hour before the agreed-upon time, so we gave the keys to an attendant in the car wash who said that he worked for the mini mart that rents out the UHaul trucks. We were worried that we would be charged for not bringing the truck back on time because we did not give the keys directly back to the person who gave them to us.

It was clean however the blankets, I rented 3 bundles of 6 yet only received 17 blankets, of which only bundle was wrapped. One bundle was half wrapped/ripped open. And another bundle wasnt wrapped at all. Also began by blocking my entrance to the store then was overly picky with renting the vehicle due to my initial response when he blocked the door. When I originally booked on the west side of city I would have preferred a west side pick up not slightly northwest of the city center.
