Door fell apart and I couldn't close it. Spent an hour trying to get the door pin that fell out and was stuck in the fender, and when I told the guy when I returned the vehicle I received no compensation for my work. No one cared. I would have been better off slamming the door and damaging both the vehicle and door when I crushed the door pin with the door into the fender. very unimpressed.

There was 1 employee on a Sunday morning at 10 am and took over a hour to pick up truck I had pre booked. Lots of unhappy customers in there that morning

Van ran fine but it wasn't clean in the back. At first glance it appeared fine but when I was sweeping it out after using it I discovered broken tiles and glass that were there from before. Suggest staff do a better job of inspecting for cleanliness. PLUS, for a company that espouses safety, the windows and mirrors were all dirty. #1 safety tip, good visibility.

The location is very poorly designed and organized. First I couldn’t get my truck into position properly to hook up the trailer so we had to moved the trainer by hand to get it on my hitch. Then after it was hooked up it couldn’t pull is straight out of its location it so I had to pull out on a angle which was a issue cause the trailer beside it was to close I would have hit it. Once I got out of there it I though I better check and see if it was even secured to my truck properly and when I check it wasn't tightened on my ball properly. My final complaint is that the thing was filthy the inside still had snow and dirt from the last user and the outside was so bad that we wiped off around the door so we wouldn’t get everything dirty that touched it but the mattress still suffered. It was so bad some of the lights were completely cover with snow and dirt

The staff (Tara) was very accommodating and friendly. The tow dolly I had reserved was not returned by the previous customer as planned so the staff went above and beyond to make alternate arrangements. I was impressed how they dealt with the situation calmly and professionally.

Originally had a confirmed rental at the Edmonton 17th street location, got there and no rental available, she blamed it on customer service although we talked directly with the location. Then we were sent to the 11 Ave & 154 street location with a confirmed rental got there and again told nothing available after we spent an hour in rush hour travelling across the cite.This location in the end did finally find an auto transport for use to use. Only needed it for the evening had in back in the yard by 9:00 PM. Not impressed with the confusion and lack of organization. The NO to the location means the 17th street business. This is the second time I have had a confirmed reservation only the show up and find I had to go to a different location to get a trailer. Recommending the 17th street location as a place top do business with will not likely happen, the others seem OK.

The trailer could have been washed on the outside and the dor could also have been lubricated as it had gotten stuck a few times but otherwise the trailer was in good condition

Workers were slow to process clients orders. Only two staff on created a line-up. It took 15 mins to find someone to hook up my trailer. Not sure I would use u-haul again.

Well to start things off, I was told multiple times that my U-Haul would be in Stony Plain which at first made it easier, but when I checked the Stony Plain location they didn’t have any clue of my order nor did they have the trailer size I needed so I was then told to go to the Edmonton location which was completely out of the way. Once I got there I had to deal with the front desk lady and her shitty attitude. After finally getting the trailer I didn’t get a leg for it to stand on which would’ve been pretty helpful. Then once I got to my location to drop off the trailer I was early by 3 Days, I expected to be reimbursed for at least 2 days because I got one day free then was told it was a set price. So no I wouldn’t want to recommend UHaul to my friends or family, and I am not pleased with the service. Do with that as you will.

Counter staff was terrible. I was clearly interrupting her day by trying to rent a truck. The vehicle had damage all over it, when I asked her to walk around and indicate it on my paperwork she became even more uncooperative and handed it all to a guy who spoke little to no English who kind of stared at me until I gave up. Terrible experience.

I along with the people helping mover were inconvenienced by the fact that I did not have a major credit card when I presented to the facility for pick up of the truck I reserved 1 week ahead of time. In order to process the payment, I was told I had to either produce a pass port or my lease agreement. First of all, neither of which I had on my person at the time, and Secondly, I had to call someone to come pick me up and take me back to my residence, Thirdly, try to locate the lease agreement turned out to be a challenge given the fact that everything was packed away. Fourth of all, six other people who showed up to help move were inconvenienced 45 minutes before this whole fiasco was cleared away. I rented a U-Haul December 2016 and never received the hassle that I went through on October 29 2017. Something is surely wrong with the current policy.
