The line on a Saturday was long, we were waiting 30 minutes. However, Natasha made this overall experience quick and easy to hook up and drop off. Considering we had difficulties with the 1800# and reservations Natasha redeemed the poor experience we had prior to pickup.

Refueling chart should be precise.i fallowed the instructions that uhaul thought me. Fuel should be exactly the same when i started using the truck but fuel end up higher than i expected. I refuel it in vancouver so i probably end up paying like $30 more.

your people at the front counter are very good at what they do.. very busy when we were there, and yet, they handled every customer with care.. flexible at arranging drop off time was a huge help... they explained everything thoroughly about the rental, and made everything work out good..thnx for the great service...



There was no walk around inspection with the customer or help with setting up the side mirrors when picking up the vehicle. Radio button for volume was missing, transmission gear selector was loose and when I got gas the vehicle slipped from park to reverse and started to roll away. The tow button on the shift lever was missing. I am handicapped and asked if I could leave my vehicle near the door while I used the rental truck and was told no move it to the street. I am very upset because this was the second location I had to go to because the first one all their computers were down and the couldn’t make contracts on them. The people were trying to do them on their smart phones but every person I saw there the phones said the clients credit card was declined. I have a $24,000 limit on my card and keep a $0.00 balance. The people tried for an hour and when I asked why they didn’t just reset their systems I was told “only the IT guy can do that” and they had been trying for hours to get him there. I was very unimpressed and also I was not informed if I used the dolly in the truck I would be charged $7,00 up front yes they warned me about low fuel costs but not that and it sure seems like a cash grab especially for someone who is obviously handicapped. The service from uhaul was far better back in 2012 when I moved to Alberta from Ontario.

Booked for pick up St. Albert - was changed to west end. Had to wait 25 minutes in line to rent. Vehicle had left over food wrappers and coffee spilt all over. Back of vehicle was wet and dirty.

It is dusty inside the van

Everything we great other than the drop off which took about an hour when it should have taken about 15 minutes. We waited for over 20 minutes at the drop off point without seeing an employee so we finally went in to see what was going on and were told to wait outside until someone showed up. Once we were checked out we had to go inside to get a refund on our estimated cost as we had used a debit card and had to line up for over half an hour to get that.. Apparently if we had used a credit card we wouldn't have had to do that but we were not advised of that at time of check in. a good experience overall other than the check out process which was extremely frustrating. This is not location specific, but I had made a reservation online which I was able to do, I received a confirmation and when I went to pick up the vehicle, there wasn’t one available. I was told they reserve the right to cancel within 24 hours but I was not notified of a cancellation. I was also disappointed to find that you could book something that wasn’t available. Not great. Location specific, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes to pick up my vehicle the next day because there were only 2 people working, which seemed odd on a weekend at the end of the month, when I already knew that everything was fully booked. When I returned my vehicle, the fellow (again, only 1?) was on his lunch break so I had to wait another long while to return it. I had also pointed out that the mileage was 1km off (my invoice said 14 when the vehicle said 15) and the clerk said he would make a note of it. I had taken a picture to show it. I was still charged for the extra km. I didn’t make a fuss because it was $0.50 but still, after everything else, I was disappointed. I don’t think I will be back to this location and I will rethink using U-Haul again.

No complains at all with the staff, but I got a huge line at this location, and then finally when it was my turn, we got a problem with the system. It took more 30 min for the girl to be able to release my truck, adding more to the 30 min waiting, nightmare!

The lineup to check the vehicle out was completely unacceptable. Regardless of any “end of month” reasonings, 45 minutes of actual waiting in line is beyond unacceptable.
