First off when I arrived, the lady was busy doing something so then I had to wait a few minutes then started taking the information was supposed to have a dolly, but the lady said the extras like that are not guaranteed which I was not aware of so that was a problem. Lady was not friendly at all.. gave the keys to the truck. I had a hard time starting the truck just because I wasn’t used to it so I asked the lady to come because I couldn’t start it. She came out not happily and started the truck. I went back into the store because the engine light was on and that check fuel cap light was on. The lady said the fuel cap light is a sensor and if I have any problems because of the engine light, I’m to call U-Haul. I asked about the other truck that was there. She said no because it was going on a one-way trip to Saskatoon because I didn’t want any problems with the engine light being on or the gas cap. The truck had spills in the cupholder just dirty in the back of the truck had a few papers and an empty bottle in it.. The lady was not friendly. The lady was just not helpful when returning the truck came back half an hour late just because of the move in the rain in that another worker that was there a lady once again was not friendly. Upon arrival I told the girl I was back to bring the truck back. The lady said she was trying to call me often because I was half an hour late. I explained to her I did not answer my phone as because I was moving so she seemed grumpy about that then she asked me if I took a picture of the mileage. I said no so I went back to the truck took a picture, but I could not see where the mileage was because it just said about the gas cap so she tried to phone the manager and then after twice the Manager must’ve told her to go out to the truck they were talking in some other language so she came back and said the mileage she then said that the money was charged to the card and I asked her what card because she never said anything to me that it was gonna be charged cause I wanted to pay cash for it and she just said that I have it on the email that would be sent to me. I would never go back to this location and as for the added stress of the engine light on and the gas cap not knowing if something was gonna happen. I’m not sure if I would rent another U-Haul and the price was expensive for just going a short distance not happy with experience at all.
