The truck had a check engine light and a message to check the fuel tank cap(which was in place and tight). The location does not seem to check for these issues nor does uhaul seem to provide compensation for that type of checking. It is not OK to provide units to people with issues such as these. I did not drive the unit around and My background allows me to assess issues like that on the fly so I did not complain, and a complaint like that would have added to the time it took to rent the unit, I was redirected to this location which not only added time need to rent the unit but also added miles to the rental which I believe should not have been my responsibility. I supposedly got a $50 credit for my inconvenience which in this case was not even close to enough to cover my added time to rent the unit nor the additional milage for the rental.
