was my first rental using a U-Haul business account, and the experience was completely unacceptable. I returned the truck to this location on time on Sunday, September 20, by approximately 9:00 AM. The truck remained physically on the property, yet the rental was not properly checked in. Despite multiple calls to this location and U-Haul Business trying to get the issue corrected, I continued to be charged as though I still had the truck. The contract was ultimately not closed until approximately 8:30 PM on September 23—more than three days after I had returned the vehicle—and I was charged $732.54 for what was supposed to be a four-day rental. The equipment itself was fine. My poor rating is specifically about the handling of the return and billing. A customer should never be charged additional rental days because a location failed to properly check in a truck that was already sitting in its yard. I spent an unreasonable amount of time making calls and trying to correct a problem I did not create. This experience was so frustrating that I have requested a refund of the improper additional charges and cancellation of my U-Haul business account. I would not recommend this location based on how my return was handled.
