There were a bunch of plastic flowers, some trash, and a dolly in the truck that I had to remove. The lady told me there was 7/8 of a tank in the truck so I chose that amount when filling out the online form. In reality there was 5/8. So, I basically had to pay for gas later that was the previous driver’s responsibility. Recommend verifying for yourself the amount of gas before submitting your form so you don’t get tricked like I was.

Was overcharged for fuel when I filled it to where I started. Also had to pickup the truck at a secondary location without any notice from any staff. (Including in the app—I was told to go to one location and they sent me clear across town and nothing was changed in the app, I was given 0 notice.)
Madison JI suspect when somebody tells me they're going to do something I expect them to do it just like I do when I tell somebody I'm going to do something I stick to my promise and I do it when I got the truck no one cleaned it inside or out it had maggots it had cat hair dog hair puke Coca-Cola on the seat on the floor on the floorboard with sand mud grass and s*** inside and out and in this inside the back of the truck was the same thing and the blankets that were in the zip thing had maggots in the blanket smelled like s*** it had much sand and grit
Judy JThe Eastside Emporium is a complete dump. Its a smoke shop / liquor store that is not where id choose to walk into especially with kids. The lady that helped us couldn't count moving blankets and had no clue how the rental process worked. The truck had a heck of an exaust leak and was extremely loud. When we took off on our move, it started to rain. The wiper blade on the driver side decinigrated as soon as we turned the wipers on. That cost me $18 at the gas station. My first U-Haul experience this year was great. This one not so much. I can explain in detail if someone wants to know.
Eric OThis location when got there to pick up the trailer the worker said he couldn't find the rental book so just take any of the trailer outside. We told him we have not even paid for it. So he called the manager for that region and handed me the phone to give my credit card information to. Never took the number or license plate number on the trailer we took from this location once the phone call was finished. Two women who rented this trailer had to hook the trailer up our selves. Absolutely ridiculous that a huge man at this location was too lazy to help out two women. The worst experience of my 60 years of age. I will NEVER recommend this location and I will NEVER rent from uhaul again when my beginning experience was this disrespectful.
