App didn’t work well but was helped by the locations rep. But during the return there was nobody present when I ran into issues.

gary cDue to the system is being down I took an extended time to get a rental on Saturday, January 17. Manager was not courteous on pricing due to the inconvenience. Also, it appears an overcharge of the gas. I did not receive the truck with a fuel tank however, it was documented. It was at a fuel tank. I will be submitting photos from where the fuel tank was and how I left it.
Nicole CPickup and drop off was super easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Carlos TI rented a 4x8 trailer. The running lights were not working. I was allowed to take it off the lot and was told to go to the Halthom City, TX U-Haul location. I did, and after a few folks looked at it, I was told it was fixed. We started driving, it became dark, and it was clear the running lights did not work. I called Halthom City, they directed me to roadside assistance as they said it was a trailer wiring issue. They were great to work with outside of a running lights issue. Roadside assistance took another 30 ish minutes after the eta. They said there was an issue with my car. Now I have U-Haul saying it’s a trailer issue and then roadside saying it’s a car issue. We turned on our hazards and driver for hours with them on because U-Haul nor roadside could assist. Once we got to Florida, we were instructed to call for a drop off location. We did and we were directed to a location. This location refused the trailer and so we called U-Haul again. They directed us to another location, we started driving, but U-Haul called us back and said they called the location and they would not take it. U-Haul called another location and the said the would take it. We had to drive another 20 minutes to drop it off. Overall, this was a horrible experience from the dealer, to the U-Haul location to roadside to having our hazards on for hours to trying three drop off locations. It was miserable. It was frustrating. We spent too much time during Christmas break trying to have a working trailer. Awful. We wanted to make you aware. I sure hope someone reads this. I sure hope that no one else has to experience this. We have another rental coming up this week. I sure hope it’s better!
