How U-Haul Reviews WorkI was never given instructions on how to pick up the truck on Sunday and had no idea the site was closed. Had I been given instructions, it might have gone smoother, but there were several mistakes on the app: 1. I was not allowed to take pictures of the vehicle prior to rental, the app timed out and took me straight to "return the vehicle" 2. When I finally, after a two hour delay, was given the code to the lock box, it was incorrect. I was sent GALE as a code and it was actually CALE - I tried several different codes and got lucky. 3. When I called customer service, one rep who seemed very nice didn't know what to do to help and just sent me back into the queue to wait again. 4. While returning the vehicle, it would not allow me to do it via the app. When I clicked "get started" to return the vehicle, I got an error message that said "The page cannot be loaded - Server issue. If issue persists, please contact Customer Support". Delaying our move was exceptionally challenging. I spoke with several confused customers in the parking lot on Sunday who had very similar experiences, this process should be amended.

Mike EThe location was great but the U-Haul app is no good in my opinion. Not at all user friendly, had difficulty uploading photos (oddly this was only for the condition of the truck prior to accepting it, during checkout it worked fine. Seems convenient for U-Haul), and it was too easy to accidentally swipe wrong in the app such that I had to start over multiple times.
