Location operator was very nice and helpful but the trailer leaked all over everything during rain. Will seek other options next time
SEAN BTrailer was cleaned out, but obviously an older model that did not have very flexible methods for securing load. It did have upgraded tongue, hitch, cables and electrical harness but the tie down rails were outdated and difficult to use with anything but very small diameter cord. The biggest problem I encountered, was when I tried to pick up trailer, the agent was unable to do so, since U-Haul's computer system was down. This resulted in a two hour delay to pick up trailer. This is the third such occurrence I have encountered in the last couple of months during our relocation process. This delayed my loading start time and caused a further delay the next morning on my travel day.
Dallas MTo be fair the drop off point is a tire shop and not a typical U-Haul location. I also dropped off my trailer while the shop was closed so I have no idea of the “helpfulness” of the staff.
