After the upfront charge and the insurance, I traveled 61 miles and my bill should have been $110 with tax. As usual U-Haul has added additional charges. I just received notice of toll charges and that’s OK. But U-Haul is terrible about adding on charges and expecting people not to take action against them.

There were 4 10ft box trucks on the lot, none of which were actually reserved. I asked for one for a total of two hours. I was told they didn't have any. I go online and see that, yes, they do have them available, and ask why I can reserve one right now but they're saying they don't have any. They told me that if I can reserve it, then go ahead and do it online. I'm sorry, what? You can't just do it now while I'm standing here? Nope, gotta do it online. Then, after I do everything online, I get told that all my info didn't save except my name so they have to do everything again... at the desk... that they can't reserve anything for me with. After returning the truck, I drop off the keys at the desk. No problem. The next day I get a text asking me where I returned the keys because they can't find them. Five minutes later, I get a receipt for the transaction. Guess they found them. Pretty well disorganized all around.
Christopher KI paid for a dolly but was not given one due to it being a one way trip. However I was reimbursed by the drop off location!
NICOLE JDid online check-in/pickup, but no keys were in the lock box. Had to waste 15 minutes in line to pickup keys. Defeats the purpose of using the app. Disappointing experience.
MATTHEW FWhen we picked up the truck, they did not have a utility dolly. We ordered the appliance dolly, utility dolly and a furniture dolly as well. They told us they were out of utility dolly’s and they would refund it off our order. But they never did, so when we dropped off the truck and equipment at the Fort Worth Lone Star Storage, they charged us for it. I called to try to resolve the issue, and I had to leave a voicemail and no one has responded since.
