DERRICK BThe van I was given the seats were dirty and the back compartment had a few pieces of dry dog kibble on the floor. The service this time was off and the vibe was not good.
ROBBIE MI had a very disappointing experience at this location. The representative was extremely rude to both me and his staff. When I arrived to return the vehicle, he made no effort to assist me in locating the proper return area and instead reacted as though I was inconveniencing him. After I parked and went inside, I was instructed to leave the key on the desk, which I did. As I was leaving, he rushed out and asked if I had a reservation. I explained that I was there for a return. He then asked if I had a reservation to return the vehicle. I informed him that this was the return location listed on my paperwork, which he never asked to review. He responded by saying I was “okay to leave the vehicle there.” Several hours later, I received a call stating that I had taken the key and needed to return it. I explained that I had left it on the desk in front of the agent, exactly as instructed. After checking, they found the key at the front desk where I had been told to place it. The vehicle was never inspected during the return process, and the overall interaction was marked by passive-aggressive behavior and public criticism of staff. This location appears to be poorly managed and does not reflect the standards I would expect from U-Haul.
