I had no problem with this location and the people I dealt with were professional, efficient, friendly and incredibly helpful. My overall experience with this rental. however, was anything but positive. I am not sure how this happened but there was a change made to my reservation the day before my scheduled rental. The update said that I would be getting a 20 foot truck rather than a 15 foot. That was fine, but the update failed to tell me that the location of the truck was changed to a business over 30 minutes away. When I appeared at the location shown on my reservation "Valero Service Station 1675 NY 22 Brewster NY" I was told there was no record of my reservation nor was there a truck available. The employee behind the counter was incredibly rude, refused to help me, would not call U-Haul telling me it was my problem, not his. No apology, no attempt to resolve the issue. I had to call the U-Haul desk and was told that the reservation had been changed. Again, the email correspondence sent to me the day before indicated the wrong location, I have used U-Haul rentals many times before and always was very satisfied with the service. I am extremely disappointed with this experience, especially with the lack of support from the employee at Valero.
