The workers and the location were very good. But the phone check in was TERRIBLE. I began the check in process at 8:05, and I did not receive authorization/verification until after 8:40. This made the phone sign in worthless since the location opened at 8:30. The workers at the location even tried to sign me in through their computer, but they told me they weren't able to since I'd started the process already on my phone. And then when I did receive verification, it did not give me the code to unlock the truck. I had to go back inside and ask the workers to open it for me. This caused me to be 40 minutes later that I was supposed to be. Movers were waiting for me at the house the whole time I was waiting on this verification with the phone log in. To be honest, I believe I should receive a refund due to the extremely poor quality of the phone check in. I made a schedule with my movers, and U-Haul's website said I could pick up my truck at 8:00 by using the phone check in. But it required me to wait over 40 minutes after 8:00 before I could take the truck. This was completely unacceptable service from U-Haul and their website. I would appreciate contact regarding how you could make this right. Your mistake and poor service cost me time and money.

The woman was very rude and swore a lot. I moved a playground and got some pine needles in the back she was very hateful and said what the H*** is that? I said pine needles. And she said well you can clean it or your paying me 25 dollars. I understand cleaning the pine needles completely understand, however she was just hateful. I will not use this service again and will encourage others to use a different service. I want to make this clear; I am not upset about cleaning the pine needles, I am upset how I was treated. Common courtesy is all I ask for.

I was charged 3 different times & only had the truck 2days. I questioned the charges & the lady behind the desk advised me to never use a credit care w/uhaul. I certainly know why now! What a rip off!

I explained to the lady I spoke with to make reservation, I needed to haul my trike motorcycle that is 5ft wide, & I needed a ramp trailer. She said I needed a 5X9 trailer, which would have been fine, except this trailer was enclosed. while on way to pick up trailer locally was informed pick up location was now 22 miles & 25 minutes away. This lady also insisted my trike would fit. Guess what. An hour & a half of wasted time, gas, & $41.00 rental fee later, my 5ft wide trike would not fit this trailer. Please refund our payment.

No room for improvement. Everything was as expected and my move was very smooth because of the ease of the online check-in and drop off.


The truck had a very dirty windshield and mud at the bottom of both sides of the truck. When I asked the establishment manager who signed the paperwork initials "P.M." which is a gas station/auto repair shop to please clean the windshield prior to my departure I expected it to be cleaned with a wet soapy windshield brush. She drove the truck to the garage entrance and a worker got into the truch and used only the trucks windsheild wiper to clean the windsheild in which it left it partially clean and leaving the rest of the windsheid dirty. I feel this was very unprofessional and dismissive of a paying customer.

Do a better job of calculating mileage. I went directly from pickup to loading (2 miles away) to drop off. No detours. No extras. I went 12 miles over allowed mileage.

The attendant did not discuss previous damage to vehicle. It was'nt major but it should have been mentioned. I noticed it and documented it with a time stamped photo taken before leaving lot.
