I signed up for mobile pick up. I spoke with the location at 4:25 p.m. and confirmed that I was scheduled for mobile pickup. Someone at the location changed my pickup and listed me as late. As a result when I got there I was not able to pick up the truck. I sat on the phone with customer service, who was very friendly, for almost an hour. There is a guarantee offered, that states that the pickup will be ready at the time of the reservation or the customer will receive $50. I would like the company to do what is right and to honor this guarantee. While the truck was there, and ready, due to the staff at the location I was unable to access the equipment. This puts significant strain on my timeline, as I did not expect to have to sit for an hour to try to rectify U-Haul's mistake. Please contact me at 703-282-0952 to help with a solution
Bridget SI called at 9am to find out if they were open and how to return the U-Haul because I know they don’t always have people there. Got a call back at 11:30 which resulted in a late fee being applied
